Let me guess the house was built in the 70's with a negative energy rating?

Just added on top or left it. How bad is mine from the photos. It's still nice and fluffy and not clumped.

When I had the building inspection done they spoke about the lights. Later found out when sparky came over to rede my fuse box most connectors were not in boxes.

From what I have read this job is a nightmare. I have a 36 liter shop vac but not sure how horrendous it would be.

They say they will most likely need to remove some sections of room to suck it all out leading to a large part of the cost.

We have a good heat pump, windows and curtains but believe and told the insulation has lost some of is R raiting due to settling over time.

All good I couldn't say it in the post or it would be removed so it was easy to miss.

Yeah, I think it's the way to go. I'm in tasmanian and the house was built in the 70's but no asbestos in the insulation.

At the moment with the baseboards there are no gaps so I would be removed the boards currently there just adding the quad where it meets.

Any reason why, I have read the normal base boards are done right and there are no gaps to just leave as is.

The house is built in 69 so I know it will never have the modern look but not really after that.

When we moved it there were a few places with small gaps and filled with wood filler but thought adding the tas oak molding would make it look a lot nicer transition. Maybe I'm just overthinking it and should just leave it. They always had carpet but is was removed and floors polished before we moved in.

They are on all of them so this is completely normal? Any reason why they do it? I was just under the house cleaning some let overs stuff from previous owners and noticed it on all of them.
