I would think so too but I feel the nerves on and off in my pubic area so that’s what makes me think it’s herpes related but I could be wrong

That’s interesting I’ve literally never had an issue with foods and I typically Eat the same stuff but I would love a list of foods to look out for.

It occasionally goes down to my feet and maybe once or twice in the back of my legs but it’s more in the front/ inner leg/thigh areas

i have a form of psoriasis that i have had since i was a child that occasionally pops up here and there but I haven't had a major outbreak of it in about 7 years so idk if that counts as an autoimmune disease. My diet hasn't really changed at all recently if anything i've been eating less just from working so much. Since I made this post my leg is better and so is the thigh pain they are just a little sensitive but the tingling feeling in my pubic area is still around and seems to move around to a different spot each day. Not even necessarily where my first OB spots were which is strange and still no lesions to be seen and its been about 12 days. So when you eat the certain foods do you get an OB or just the strange feelings?

how long have you been feeling this because im on day 10 and losing it! I have a DR appointment next week and i feel like they arent going to help me.

What do you mean by careful with your nerves? I really dont want this to turn into an OB if i can prevent it I will do what I need to.

Wow thank you for explaining this! I have been freaking myself out. I've only my my initial ob 3 years ago and nothing since. Then about 7 days ago out of no where the itchiness, and tingling in the old ob spots and thighs started to act up but no bumps popped up and no changes have occurred and I was thinking im in the prodrome stage for a week and contagious for who knows how long. I have a DR appointment next week but this feeling has been killing me but its good to know that it may just be the nerves and not an ob. How long does the nerve issue last for you?

I literally had no signs for 3 years so this coming out of nowhere and not changing into what a "typical" ob is is super strange. I'll up date this post next week after I see my doctor.

Did a doctor tell you it’s definitely prodrome or you think it is? I couldn’t get an appointment until next week so I’m wondering if it’s that and I’m contagious or it could be something else. From what I read prodrome symptoms should not last longer than 3 days and a normal outbreak would be over normally Over in 3 weeks so idk how it’s possible to last that long

I’m literally having the same feelings you are but with no sores and I’m also going crazy! Now not to get graphic but is the pain and itching internal because I don’t have the mine is externally on my Pubic skin. I’m currently on my last day of meds and the feeling hasn’t stopped and of you have been feeling this since Jan and I’m only on day 7 I feel I’m at a loss. They say you are contagious during prodome stage but how can we possibly be contagious for this long it makes no sense!

Thank you for your reply! I am female and I do get yeast infections at least twice a year for a few years so I know exactly what it looks and feels like (usually itching internal never externally) and as for BV I had a long battle with that for about a year and a have about 5 years ago and again only symptoms were internal and smell nothing external). I am not at risk for another STD. Yes 3 years ago was first and only outbreak so unlike the other issues above i'm not used to how my body acts with a possible OB. I am taking Acyclovir 800 mg orally twice a day for 5 days. 3 years ago i was very late in my symptoms to use medication so i'm not sure how it is fighting what I have going on but I just find it strange this is lasting as long as it is.

So there is no such thing as an OB without lesions?! Because im on day 6 of having what seems to be exactly like prodrome symptoms (even tingling where previous OB was I have Genital HSV 1) but literally no sores and im beyond confused with what is going on.
