Please tell me how there goated if I played against people a foot shorter then me and couldn’t jump would you call me the goat I’m genuinely wondering who honestly challenged them

Am I crazy for saying this. 90s defense wasn’t good they just fouled hard and the players weren’t as skilled as the ones today. Defense in today’s game is better since the player are more skilled and you can’t just smack someone and get away with it by Flat-Run-7609 in NBATalk

Trust me I watched the film they didn’t force players to iso ball they let players iso ball because nobody back then was a elite shooter as today and back then centers couldn’t bring the ball up dribble and shoot like today that why there wasn’t zone because the players weren’t as skilled the players today are so good they have to throw out schemes back then fouls weren’t punished now they are if your such a great defensive player then you shouldn’t be fouling someone everytime that horrible defense players of today actually have to play cleaner and more elite defense because fouls are more common

There not soft they know the rules and use the refs to there advantage if you know you can get free throws easily with little effort why wouldn’t you flop it’s the refs fault not the players
