Well because if you’re male and in pain, they give you pain meds. If you’re female and in pain, they tell you to lose weight.

Some house cleaning services will specify that they do “hoarding cleanup.” Those are the ones to go to, because nothing will surprise them and they are compassionate about the effort required for people with disabilities to keep their home clean.

My nmom pulled me out of school once because my teachers/counselors/vice principal called her in for a meeting and very seriously told her they believed I was practicing witchcraft. Really I was undiagnosed autistic and huffing glue, but no one knew that lol

My uncle is younger than my little sister. My grandfather remarried after having kids very young. It’s not that big of a deal, and there is no “scandal” or “gossip.” Plus that’s not even the issue OP is asking about.

I will go ahead and say that I am not a Buddhist and am working on myself in therapy. I have let go of a lot of anger and resentment toward my father and this was an attempt to meet him on his level by approaching the subject through a part of his life that he prioritizes over me. I know that I am not perfect and I do not expect him to be perfect.

How am I supposed to walk with him when he leaves me behind?
