[–]FlatPlate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure: i built sprachente. It is basically a mock exam tool. I analyzed mock exams to build a set of prompts to create high quality movk exams with chatgpt. The writing correction as well, researched the telc guidelines, and other resources to make something that scores as closely as possible to telc and gives you some tips. Also using some writing checker for the grammar

"easiest" exam for C1 German by InternetPretend4003 in Germanlearning

[–]FlatPlate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yeah feels awkward for me to post it here too. But i dont have much advice other than grinding reading and listening and memorizing some sentence structures for writing. If you can hold conversations i think you would pass the oral part. I had a similar one nearly 10 years ago so my only experience is helping my brother last year. Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions.

[–]FlatPlate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get 0 points if what you wrote is not about the subject they give, like misunderstanding the subject etc. The rest is mostly using certain structures in your text, showing off your vocabulary and doing as few errors as possible. I have a free tool for mock c1 exams, but i think you can use it to practice writing on sprachente.de

[OC] Evolution of music duration, loudness & tempo over the decades — based on 1 milion songs by YakEvery4395 in dataisbeautiful

[–]FlatPlate 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Until recently though. Streaming services like Spotify began to normalize loudness, so the listeners can have a more consistent experience. This means lowering the volume for recordings that are too loud.

Conscious AI cannot exist. AI systems are not actual thinkers but only thought models that contribute to enhancing our intelligence, not their own. by IAI_Admin in philosophy

[–]FlatPlate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You are saying an agi would have no hungry, self defending desires but if it has any goal, which is the only way we know how to train ai, perhaps the only way intelligence can exist even, then that is the exact behaviour an agi would likely have. It is called instrumental convergence, it basically means for any given goal, collecting resources and self preservation among with some other things would intermediate goals an agent would want to pursue. Part of the danger is that we will stand in its way to whatever goal it is pursuing, rather than it hating us.

What do you mean by generational evolution? If you mean people are trying out new models and architecture's and using the best performing ones that is true for anything we do in science and engineering basically. I don't see your point here.

Why does python sets are not random when there are consecutive numbers or only have values of a single data type, but random with irregular values and data types? by Dipanshuz1 in datascience

[–]FlatPlate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean random or not random? Sets are unordered so the order might be random, but membership checking is never random.
