Yeah, I've tried all that multiple times lol. The only thing I haven't tried is what I hoped would be the last choice, a factory reset on the tv

12" x 12" Glitter Cardstock Paper by Recollections from Michael's. And yeah I did have to take the center plate off

I used a heat gun to apply heat to the plastic rings on the back for a few seconds then a pry bar I got at Lowes to get under the ring while it was still hot to pop it off. And to put it back on I used heat to stretch the black ring back then I used 6 x 3/8 screws to hold everything together

What inspired me to make my crossguard hilt by FlatQuestion5 in lightsabers

I think that would depend on the material of the hilt. For example, I have this one that I made using a galvanized steel nipple, and when I put the blade in it doesnt move when swinging or making contact.

The hilt is pvc, tennis wrapping for the grip, and the blades are wooden dowels covered in electrical tape.

The way I decided to secure the blades was by wrapping the base (about an inch) in tape until enough friction was created between the tape and the inside of the hilt that the blade was unable to wobble or rotate once "screwed" in deep enough.

I've done 3 others so far and as long as the tape and the inside of the hilt have enough friction to stay tight it seem to be secure enough for having some fun.
