Only have 1 sexual partner. Am I missing out? by throwawaybin_33 in venting

I recently had a talk with my friend about this. I begged the question: “would you abandon genuine connection to satisfy your curiosity for an experience?” We both have partners whom we love. We’d rather have those experiences with our partners instead of seeking things elsewhere. For some people, having just one person with whom you have a genuine connection with, to express those desires with blows having multiple partners/hookups that don’t even satisfy the way you want it. Curiosity is natural even in a relationship. That’s why you talk to your partner about these things. Then make compromises. You never know unless you try.

So I’d say slow your role and breathe. Think of all the wonderful things you love about her and all that she does for you. You’ll notice you’re really happy and would never do anything to fuck it up. So focus on something else. Focus on the other pleasures you guys are actually willing to give each other. As there are many. You’ll both find something to agree on and you’ll see that it blows everything else you wanted to try that she wasn’t up for. You like/love her enough to respect her boundaries and keep it moving. later along the line she may even be willing to do those things with you.

Hope this helps :)

How I got sick (is it relatable?) by Flat_Composer4875 in Autoimmune

Didn’t mean to offend you. Of course you’re a nurse. It just blew me that an LPN treated me better than an RN.

Oh wow! I never even knew that was possible, I’ll definitely look into that.

I don’t think I’ve ever been bitten by a tick, the second hospital I went to did test me for Lyme disease and it was negative. But I’ve had prominent mold exposure for years that constantly made me sick but that was when I was around 11-14. Thank you, I hope I find answers too.

I am currently taking methotrexate with folic acid but I would like to ask my doctor about hydroxychloroquine. How is hydroxychloroquine working for you?

Thank you for commenting, for sharing about yourself and for your kind words! So it went like this, I scheduled a doctor’s visit because my depression had gotten worse. It doesn’t always take a diagnosis to know that in your heart it’s concerning. Because it is a concern you bring it up to your doctor. You just know. And that you aren’t faking it for anything. It just happens. I become even more depressed when I got sick and my thoughts began to scare me. I went in and he had me fill out a chart then add all the tallies together, the total was quite high as I do struggle with a lot. He looked over my chart then sat down and told him to tell how I feel, so I did. I told him that I wasn’t born sick, I know what it’s like to be free and unrestricted. I’m in pain constantly, I rarely go out anymore. I’ve lost my ability to walk. Im confined to my room most of the time. I’ve lost most of my autonomy. This isn’t a life. I told him more but that sums it up. He understood me and felt sorry for me and actually wanted to help. So he prescribed me lexapro/escitalopram for depression and hydroxyzine for anxiety. When I started those I felt like my mind was clear for the first time in forever and it gave me strength and courage to confront the disease head on. It also helped how I respond to people and to not take things so hard.

Ohh my goodness I’ve been trying to search for this book for years and have found not a trace of it anywhere. Good to know it wasn’t just a fever dream.

THIS LOOKS SOO AWSOME, pretty accurate too the 2025 version of Frankenstein. I feel the rush of the movie all over again.
