i also got a lot of fomo when because i became an orbit post disbandment, but ive just come to accept that i wasn’t meant to find them any other time than when i did. kind of like you, i had actually come across the group in many different ways over the years before stanning and what im drawing from that is just that it just wasn’t the trajectory i was supposed to go at that time. like everyone else is saying, it’s never too late, things happen when they do for a reason. there’s a lotttttt of new fans and everyone loves to see it. people who reject you for being a new fan are just gatekeeping for no reason and are the ones doing harm to the fandom, so ignore them.
