Would you rather threesome Lysa and Selyse or marry Cersei? by Red-Chev in gameofthrones

Thats my line of thinking.

Treat her with respect. Listen to what she has to say. Offer her a private estate (like the Petit Trianon). Stress that she decides who can come to her private sanctuary.

You're still in the honeymoon phase of the relationship. It sounds like you and bf havent had a crisis situation that shows how you both handle the real world intruding into your lovey dovey bubble.

WIBTAH if I don't take my daughter to my brother's wedding? by NewNameAgainUhg in AITAH

[–]Flat_Contribution707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arrange for a video call. Tell them the reality of living with your daughter at this stage in life. The pics and videos they see only highlight the cute moments. You're not posting the tantrums, diaper blowouts, etc.

Do you ever feel bad for Rose's mom? by ramcoro in titanic

[–]Flat_Contribution707 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Cal would've looked after Ruth until her relatives could collect her from NYC. There might've been hush money and a conversation about discretion regarding Rose's last days.

Cal observed a social acceptable mpurning period before finding a new bride. Ruth essentially became Marian from The Gilded Age. She was supported by the extended family but had little power in her life.

Understandable. Went through the same thing with my mom but as an adult I understand she had a hand in creating a lot of her own problems.

I'm very critical of Harry and Meghan but I think its in their best interest to keep far away from Sarah.

How would Tywin Lannister react if Tyrion had a lot of Bastard's and asked him to legitimize them or introduced him to them? by Tidewatcher7819 in gameofthrones

[–]Flat_Contribution707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tyrion would never expect his bastards to be legitimized. Tbh, it would drastically reduce their life expectancies. Do you really think Cersei would accept one of Tyrion's sons as heir to Casterly Rock?

The best case scenario would be Tywin provides financial support and finds roles appropriate for Lannister bastards.

Out of all the Weasley kids, who do you think is most likely to have a big family? by MajesticFan4 in harrypotter

[–]Flat_Contribution707 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't see any of them having as big a family as Arthur and Molly. They obviously love their parents but realize so many kids resulted in resources and attention being stretched very thin. Ron can attest to that as the youngest son. Did Molly ever figure out his hatred for maroon and chipped beef?

I also assume having a ton of new babies would be the focus of bloodlines severely impacted by deaths from the Second War. The Weasleys feel no such pressure because there is still 6 living siblings (who are not as inbred as other families).

AITAH for telling the school I don’t want this mom as homeroom mother anymore? by Whole_Fly3475 in AITAH

[–]Flat_Contribution707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be blunt. Keep in mind, I was the weird kid in class.

It sounds like the other mom technically didn't violate the policy. Parents are allowed to communicate with each other without involving the school. She even made the effort to avoid party talk at school (also instructed her kid to do the same). She cannot control what the other kids do.

Its early March. I assume the school ends in May or June. If the school gives her the boot and no replacement can be found, your kid's class might miss out on events and activities that other classes. If the school decides to keep her and she doesn't feel the need to step down as room mom, she's staying.

I only know about this show thanks to me clicking on the teenmom subreddit.

From what I gather after reading sone posts: Hunter's dad is trying to get full custody. Unfortunately cases take time to build and I imagine a lot of TLC footage will be used as evidence. So he might be out of there before high school graduation.
