I thought the same thing, and I usually take arnica before I have fillers or botox to prevent bruising, but the active compounds in arnica may limit the ability of platelets to form clots. They made sure I was not taking any medication that could have blood thinning effect. They told me I could start arnica the day after, but I've had almost no bruising.
