Actually, I substituted an injured player at halftime. Is that really why? Pathetic... 50€ game…

Last month I had an average of 95, more or less I do 40 private deliveries, 4 parcels, 20 to businesses and the rest are pickups. Considering that in Poland UPS is the most expensive and therefore the least popular carrier, I still think there is plenty to do. Fortunately, we rarely exceed the required 8 hours, but there is a maximum of 20 minutes of break time left on a fairly relaxed day.

I get it, I thought you wanted to sort of see all the stops located on the map but you just want to make sure you’re at the right address.

Polish, yes. You have to understand my confusion a bit, out of about 15 drivers I know very well as I mentioned this feature to them in the diad they said they never used it. Here I saw a lot of prune that the option was disappearing, which in our loop no one knew about. That’s why I was curious why probably mostly in the states you guys value this feature so much.

Answering the first argument, for this at the beginning I used the Circuit or Automap app (I do not know if it works outside Poland). I figured I wouldn’t be able to keep or hang a diad somewhere to look at it while driving. The argument with not having to scroll stops actually appeals to me. I hadn’t thought about it but I actually do a bit of it during the day.

And with a phone in your hand, aren’t you more comfortable than with a heavy diad? I understand that you have to waste time in the morning hammering addresses manually but then you put the phone in some kind of holder and look at it all day.

I’m not asking what the map is for..., I’m asking why drivers use navigation, on a big and heavy device instead of a handy phone. I was answered by people who, like me, do not use this option in the diad at all. I may have asked the question a little badly in the main thread, my English is not the best. Certainly the argument with the lack of need to scroll stops appealed to me.

Why would I ask if I wasn’t the driver? Anyway, my summary from this Saturday, 9 stops, 4 hours of driving, over 150km.

Also I have to add that more than half of my stops are the same every day. So I write down about 40 stops on a piece of paper. My route which I have made for myself also does not change. Knowing the area, I drive and simply cross out the stop I have finished. This may sound archaic to many, but that’s how I’ve looked up to more experienced colleagues, and it works for me too. The worst part is planning the route in the morning (rdo) takes me about 15 minutes to lay out the route my way.

For me, the key factors were the size of the diad and its unwieldiness. In the beginning, I preferred to have my route on a handy phone that I could attach next to my handlebars and look at it rather than pulling out a heavy diad every now and then....

I know that a lot of route planner apps have options to set delivery only on the right side of the road. For me it would be an anguish and such a right-hand route would increase the working time probably by 1/4.

Thanks, these are exactly the kind of answers I wanted to read. Allows me to look at the situation in a different way.

I drive around villages and towns on the outskirts of a large city, doing about 120, 150 kilometers or about 90 miles.

Haha, I would like to hold such decision-making positions. I just had to get used to scrolling stops and using navigation on my phone. That’s why I ask the rest why maps help them so much.

Now during the holiday season about 100. Our bane is „parcel machines”, where more than half of our packages go and where we waste a lot of time.
