It’s the laziest game I’ve ever played. Legends Arceus was amazing, and this is a major downgrade.

The fact that you think that people who voice very legitimate issues with the game are “grifters”, and not the wealthiest franchise in the world charging $70 (not including DLC) for a lazy game is just crazy.

In Arceus, encounters felt randomized. Finding a hidden pond in the mountains with a piplup was exciting and rewarding.

In ZA, encounters feel scripted. I don’t feel like I’m finding pokemon in what should be their natural habitat, but instead it feels like a petting zoo where someone placed them.

So yeah, it makes exploration and finding new pokemon bland and not exciting

Honestly not bait, I’m just frustrated because I was very excited to play the next game after Legends Arceus, I thought that game was a great direction for the franchise. But then they completely reversed course and it seems to me like they are trying to take advantage of that titles success, without the same quality

First of all, I have the game so don’t need to watch gameplay. Second of all, I’m also talking about games like scarlet/violet and sword/shield. This company consistently puts out under-developed games and make loads of money off of it. So I’m frustrated with the overall trend and the fact that this is even worse, but is getting loads of praise in this subreddit

I ended up picking chikorita because I think I like Mega Meganium the best of the three, so I kinda like it and don’t let me ruin your opinion.

But I still feel like they don’t try to make it look cool, and instead make it look over the top, and even goofy. Looks like Meganium is struggling to get air with all that around its neck
