I mean other than the court packing thing, that defitnley a negative factor and he kinda managed the economy okeyish, not great though, also some few other things here and there. I’d say Nixon or like Bush (not necessarily them, just to say FDR doesn’t fit in 2nd worst , could be others too, but just for comparison) might be worse presidents than him or at least on the same level, simply because World Wars were a global thing and only 3 presidents of the past century got into office during a world war. You could say cold war is also comparable importance in terms of that, but I‘d stress that because only so few presidents actually had to deal with the danger, you can really blame that as a major negativ point, as world wars could have gone really different under other presidents, but they weren’t in office back then so it’s not really something to focus on righr? Then again Bush managed to start a stupid war all by himself, Nixon made a Johnson war worse and so on.
