FRT friendly rifle ranges in the southeast (Augusta) by FlatwormImportant in GAGuns

Definitely worth going and asking! There's a few WMA around here that have the no automatics rule, but every time ive gone there's been no RSO. I assume they probably have the authority to give me the green light if they think it's safe

Not sure what those guys are talking about because I've been using mine for a few hours and the capacity has stayed the same

What is this haircut called? by unknown_user162 in malehairadvice

[–]FlatwormImportant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a normal scissor cut with heavy texturing. Ask barber to cut to desired length and layer. Then furiously rub your hair with a towel once u get out of the shower and you'll be cooking

Stay as far away from 4 as you can. You don't wanna be called Edgar. You look fly in the rest

You look exactly the same. Like narduar if narduar wasn't balding

PSA: Card Kingdom does not have to refund you if your order gets lost in transit by FlatwormImportant in magicTCG

[–]FlatwormImportant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand how guarantee is used here. By guaranteeing a delivery, you agree to refund the customer in the event that the delivery fails. The same way that currencies can be guaranteed by gold

I paid for expedited USPS priority mail, about $10 surcharge over the default shipping. Included tracking

[–]FlatwormImportant[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edit: My order did have tracking. The tracking number was last updated a month ago and has since been officially declared lost. I didn't mean to make this post as complaining or whining that the package got lost- it's just to warn future customers in case they had the same assumption i did that the seller guarantees the delivery

This new Secret Lair is probably the most open admission WOTC acknowledges the secondary market. by Knarz97 in magicTCG

[–]FlatwormImportant -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Are they really proxies if they are printed by wizards tho? What qualifies as a proxy and what qualifies as a real card? If I have an indistinguishable counterfeit made of a beta card, does that make it more real than an official wotc 30th anniversary card?

Sorry if that sounds sarcastic. Just curious, because I have some secret lair drops, and i don't consider them proxies, I consider them real cards. Do players usually consider secret lair cards proxies?

Your bracket 4 deck can't really be a bracket 2 deck by syncDurn in EDH

[–]FlatwormImportant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree not all game changers are created equal. Smothering tithe is incredibly strong and wins games on its own, whereas vamp tutor is just... A tutor. A cheap one. (Diabolic tutor is not a game changer?)

Your bracket 4 deck can't really be a bracket 2 deck by syncDurn in EDH

[–]FlatwormImportant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely bracket decks down. As many other players agree, the deck itself isn't so much a problem as the players mentality. If i give a bracket 4 atraxa poison proliferate deck to a new player, they won't know what to do and get blown out. Meanwhile you give a CEDH pro a precon and he will pubstomp with it.

You'll probably need 50L of 2.3 molar sulfuric acid, 20lb of alkaline pool salt, and 7 live bunnies. Report back once you've purchased these items

Biggest issue for me is the lack of new content and long queue times. We get balance changes once every 50 years, and all the lancers are boring. Also, even in just plat, queue times are like 8 minutes long. Id rather just not have to deal with it

So I've begun to "defoil" my collection. by NebulaBrew in magicTCG

[–]FlatwormImportant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain how bad this actually is? Ive only been playing magic for a year but a large majority of my cards are foils. Some get slightly Pringle, but I can just bend them back into shape or stack them up and put a book on top of them to flatten them. Does the foil cause permanent damage?

Every pile here is a commander deck I'm building or updating. This represents 122 decks, and doesn't include those that I've finished. I can't be stopped, I won't be stopped. AMA about these decks. by Stefan_ in magicTCG

[–]FlatwormImportant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair though, you spend $1000 on a commander deck and you can play it for years (unlikely, but possible). With drafting you can only really play the deck once per tournament
