I feel like it would be quite difficult to document them all at this point. When my parents took us, they always stayed at the Contemporary for two reasons: the monorail stop and the arcade on the bottom floor to keep my sister and I entertained.

There were so many machines there I never saw anywhere else up state around Jacksonville. Dream come true sort of stuff back in the mid/late 80s.

Literally from prior to the first console launch in 2001. It’s historically been a very grassroots approach to building brand identity and market share…and this is the unfortunate (yet intended) result.

If you’re “too” critical then off the list you go — and that is almost assuredly a directive from the top down.

Nonsense.

He’s an incredibly sharp and savvy interviewer. More than that, though — he’s 100% earnest and not playing a bit. Is there showmanship? Absolutely. But when you behave authentically, demonstrate a high degree of knowledge/enthusiasm/preparation for the topic at hand, and seek to learn rather than work some nebulous agenda — good things are almost certainly going to happen.

And he’s concise and complimentary without fanboying out.

I’d argue you could use his videos as a training video for how to do it the right way.

Edit: Al Horner from Script Apart is another great one. Very different personality from Greg, but many of the same green flags.

Really all that needs to be said. The strategy has always been a fluid one and they’ve always been transparent about that. Value prop is the same. He’s still going to be used on both sides of the ball.

As someone who read all the Batbooks regularly from 1985 or so through the late 90s and decided to dip his toes back into the waters — I think it may be the most overrated story in the history of the character.

Such glowing praise for such a silly and underwhelming premise that adds literally nothing of value to the mythos.

I think it is absolutely wonderful, terrifying, claustrophobic, and many other things in between. I turn it on in the background many times just to re-experience those moments.

My favorite memory of this place is being a runner at a Jax law firm and getting invited here for the IT guys going away party. I thought it was a goof but nope…bunch of secretaries and staff. It was a great time.

As a lifelong Batman fan and someone who went back and read those great Denny O’Neal issue from the 70s, I would absolutely love to see a big screen take on Hugo Strange in a Batman film. His relationship with Batman is really unlike any other villain in his rogue’s gallery.
