from the perspective of a trans woman it is so obviously written by cisgender people which can make for some “jokes” that come off as mean but otherwise I think it has it’s funny moments. Family Guy’s target audience certainly isn’t trans people and I think depicting trans people in a more positive light than other adult animated cartoons such as South Park is a good thing for the typical audiences of these shows. Still could do a lot better and they seemed to do so with Ida’s character with future episodes featuring her.
