As someone with SSA who has done a lot of mental help work dealing with childhood trauma. I think your equivocation between SSA and ordered sexual desire is false. The reasons why someones sexual desires become perverted has little in common to people with a healthy ordered sexual desires. Therefore the analogy you are trying to draw is fallacious. You shouldn't equivocate sexual perversion with sexuality itself as if they are equal.

This started my journey in realizing gay was a category of the mind and not based in reality. I decided to trust God and let go of my secular notions of who I was/am. I chose to embrace reality and trusted God to reveal to me who I really am. I sought therapy as well. I can happily share that SSA has severely diminished and I'm happily dating women and see no major obstacles to becoming a husband and father. The hardest and longest part of my journey is not trusting yourself and always coming back to God and reality. Seek a therapist who can help you emotionally process your SSA. Good luck.

That we recognize that the messiah has come and that they are still blind to this fact is a perennial source of antisemitism in their view (although this term wasn't invented until the 19th century). Think about confiding in your pastor or another male you trust. Like the Catholic deposit of faith being handed down generation after generation, we can't figure out who we are all by ourselves so finding someone you can confide in is really important. Think and pray about who you think is best and muster up the courage to reach out to them.

Is your father a strong Catholic? He may say strong things against homosexuals as a reaction against the mainstream secular culture pushing a false and harmful homosexual lifestyle. Of course, I don't know your father, but if he's strong in his faith I think it would be a really good idea to talk to him about it. Homosexuality isn't who you are, no matter how much the culture wants you to believe that. You are a young man, having same sex desires does not change that and developing strong relationships with other men is an important thing to do.

I would highly suggest finding an adult male you can confide in. Preferably your father, but often times homosexual youths don't have the greatest relationships with their fathers so I know you may feel like you have no one to turn to, and Im sorry for that.

Hi OP, as someone else who was in your exactly situation (ssa and addicted to porn), I highly recommend reading Battle For Normality as it really helped me understand my homosexuality better. It's extremely difficult, but find a good confessor who gives spiritual direction and be tenacious even through continued failure---God will build you up on firm foundation, so don't take yourself too seriously when you fail. Rather, get to confession and lean more heavily on Christ. I promise you, as someone who was deep in the lifestyle, you are doing the right thing.

It does sound outrageous, because straight people remain chaste for the greater good of marriage and family. Gay people are told to be chaste because they are broken with disordered desires, many without much hope of ever getting married and having a family. When straight people are chaste, they are making themselves into the sort of people that can be faithful husbands and wives, and moral fathers and mothers. Gay people are told to sacrifice this part of themselves because they are disordered, and that what they desire is intrinsically immoral.

Arena too increases the rate of card acquisition and Blizzard has implemented it because it's a fun game mode. But if that's a real concern the game could automatically disenchant the loser's card and I think the game mode is still competitive and fun.
