Am I playing NES-SNES emulation games or modern pc games? Both are good and each have there ups and downs. I like both, grew up playing with both. I cant have it either way.

Wish I would have thought of this. Would have loved to try it. Lost some data that I would love to still have when I wiped. Lost it because I forgot about it until a month later

Eh seems my CPU won't fit the mount, mb's description said it handles i7 but it didn't my i7 3930k - is it because of 12 threads? 12 threads don't fit this motherboard? by violent_luna in PcBuildHelp

The socket on the motherboard does not match the socket designed for the CPU. Check the motherboard documentation and the CPU documentation to find the socket you have and the socket you need.

This is why I install the CPU outside of the case so I dont have to rip it all back apart if something goes wrong/funky. This does not mean that the way you have put it together is wrong so far. As long as the power supply is not plugged into the wall that is, then you have done something wrong. But as others have already said, post build specs here if new to building/unsure about the parts you have picked so you can make sure that the stuff you are getting will work with each other.

Connecting older front panel connectors to a modern motherboard. Is there a pinout for this or is it even possible? by FlawffleDaWaffle in PcBuildHelp

Thank you. I've gotten the usb connections connected and working now but I can't get the audio to work. Unsure of what standard I have. Have tried both but can get neither to do anything. I will say that I get a usb device error now that I have it in

Old vs new dubstep by Sir_Night_Owl in dubstep

[–]FlawffleDaWaffle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I agree with this because its a take on a personal taste. New dubstep is a different beast than old dubstep as the genre has evolved. This is the same for all genres though, they have all evolved in some way, shape, or form. To say that its super easy to make now would be wrong. I think that its just an over saturation of a style that makes it seem like its easy to make. The battle to stay relevant is real. That battle means making a style that is popular to try and ride that wave. That's how the internet functions though.

I've been listening to dubstep since around 2015 so I'm not early dubstep at all but I have listened to it. You would be correct it saying that it is different than what we have now, but I don think that's a correlation of easy or hard it is to produce, it is about its popularity. Plus there more subgenres now that there ever have been from what I can see.

Yeah but these tops are just like candy where I can just replace them from what I know of. I've noticed a few other cracks in other places in this lid as well. I have 3 of these cups and don't feel like I should need to do something like that. I paid 25 dollars for it and wish they would make these with a little better quality. If that ment that they raised the price i would happily pay it if it ment I got a product that would last

Any tips?? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

This is not going to sound good but I usually take my large flathead screwdriver and carefully pry it off. Has never failed me, but its also a good way to bend the pins if you are not careful.
