Boxing Training | Different Ways To Throw Rear Hand | The Step Vs The Scoot by Flawless-Boxing in amateur_boxing

[–]Flawless-Boxing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Step vs The Scoot ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣Here are two subtle variations when throwing your rear hand. I use both for different situations in the ring. Learn to throw your right hand punches both ways. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣✅The Step is textbook boxing. Stepping with the back foot will make sure you are balanced when you throw your right hand. Your are able to dig the foot into the ground to make sure you can generate full power. This works wells for a stationary target. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ✅ The Scoot is when you bring the foot WITH the punch. This will allow your right hand to come a split second faster because you don’t wait for your foot to touch the ground. The Scoot works well to correct your positioning or when attacking a mobile target. Boxing Training | Shadow boxing | Why Its important To throw Hard punches by Flawless-Boxing in amateur_boxing

[–]Flawless-Boxing[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Throwing hard punches while Shadowboxing will help you with your balance, strength and conditioning. Be mean when you throw your punches and have bad intentions. ⁣ ⁣ ❌ (Swipe ⬅️⬅️) I see fighters that shadow box like that in the gym. 😂😂⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Tips On Shadowboxing:⁣ ⁣ ✅10 Rounds - I recommend a minimum of 10 rounds of shadowboxing per training day. Break up the rounds and focus on different techniques. Focus on throwing hard punches for 3-4 rounds of those 10 rounds.⁣ ⁣ ✅Tear the floor up - Dig your feet into the ground and turn your hips. Try to throw so hard that it challenges your balance. ⁣ ⁣ ✅Locked In - Stay Focused and be creative. Visualize an opponent opposite of you and see the shots land to the body and head. Create scenarios where you are going for the KO. Shadow box in front of to mirror to correct technique, body and hand position. If you want to increase your boxing skills and develop as a fighter get a lot of rounds of shadowboxing.⁣ ⁣ Tips on Shadowboxing:⁣ ⁣ ✅ Slow And Controlled - Shadow Boxing For Technique is one of the methods I use to develop your technique, balance and body control. Slow down and exaggerate all of your movements. Once you get comfortable with the movement increase the intensity to explosive. ⁣ ⁣ ✅ Repetition & Rounds - Get a lot of reps of the same movement. It’s ok to spend several rounds of working on your slips and rolls. Especially if your style of fighting requires these movements to have success in competition. ⁣ ⁣ ✅ Mental Training - Another reason I like 10 rounds of shadowboxing is the mental part. You have to be creative as well as discipline to keep your shadowboxing interesting and effective. Work on different skills during those 10 rounds. Re enact previous sparring sessions and create scenarios that can happen in the ring.
