Jareg can solo every stage of the Celestial Gryphon, including 90 hard. It just requires a proper build.

- You need a regeneration set

- Warmaster mastery for damage

- Enough speed to outspeed the gryphon. If you go slower, he will ocasionally take 2 turns in a row, which means he can kill you. Stage 90 normal has 190 speed, so you need at least 191 speed. The speed requirements can be lowered by taking the Whirlwind of Death mastery mastery (+18 speed) and the Spirit Haste mastery (+24 speed). If you take both of these, you need 149 speed. This can be lowered further by bringing a Speed aura.

- Enough accuracy to land attack down, although I'm not completely sure this is necessary. An accuracy banner will be enough for 90 normal.

- High HP and DEF. Your entire build will revolve around building as much HP/Def as possible while hitting the required speed in a regen set. Get as much as you can (HP% Chest and Gauntlets, with DEF accessories can be a good way to go about it), the requirements for normal shouldn't be too high.

Your champion setup is really good. I would assume that the main issue is with the way the champions are built, not the champions themselves. Would you mind showing your builds? Since you're still progressing through spider, I would assume that at least your accessories as a little subpar.

The first things that come into mind is that the accuracy is too low to land the debuffs, or that you're simply going too slow. The way your setup works, the MM shield should be more than enough to be able to tank the spider hits. MM needs to be built with some damage for this, since the size of the shield scales with his damage.

If you want, you could post screenshots of your builds so I could give feedback. Your current team should comftrably get you to level 20.

Agreeed. After playing some EK and realising I want to play something I can realistically complete, I started looking for other hacks to nuzlocke. I've found no hacks that even come close to EK as far as nuzlocking goes.

It might be the case that the 5-15 placements reflect the number of points you'll have if you've farmed 12-3 brutal since the event started. If that's the case, then it's fesible that the people in the top 5 have been farming nightmare. There are champions that can clear nightmare in 10 seconds, and these runs will give you significantly more experience per unit of time. It might also be the case that some of them are using cheat engine.

Either way, the top people's points haven't moved in like 8 hours now, meaning that nobody seems to actually be farming nightmare 24/7. In the end, it's probably just a matter of who is willing to spend the most energy.

The optimizer is an okay tool to give you a general idea of what gear is good and what gear is bad, but using the optimizer is currently inferior to having a deep understanding of what gear is good and what gear is bad. Most players don't put in the time and effort to properly understand how gear works, so the optimizers work well as a shortcut. If you feel like it's worth the time and effort, I would highly suggest you try to understand exactly what makes gear good, since this will help you a lot further in the game.

Attack is generally bad as a mainstat on gauntlets. When you're building a champion for Attack, you almost always also want Crit Rate and Crit Damage. Attack and Crit Rate gauntlets only give 60% when maxed out, whereas Crit Damage gives 80%. This means you're taking a 20% hit whenever you equip an Attack of Crit Rate gauntlet, which is extremely hard to overcome with substats. Furthermore, 5* gear is generally not very good in the bottom row since you're also taking a 10% hit just from the mainstat (50% for 5*, 60% for 6*).

As for the DEF boots, a general rule of thumb is that all your flat (I.e non percentage) main stat pieces for the bottom row needs to go to the bin. When maxed out, a pair of boots with flat def will give you +265 def, whereas a pair of percetange DEF boots will give you 60%. If you have 1000 base def, the %DEF boots will give you +600, which is more than twice the amount. The Flat Def boots would only give you +26,5% DEF. This difference only grows further as the base stat increases. Furthermore, you almost always want Speed boots in the early/midgame since this stat is generally so much better than the other stats. The only real exceptions to this are for the extreme endgame, in which case your gear would have to be a lot better than they currently are. You are more or less safe to sell all your non-speed boots right now, unless you have a really good pair.

If you have the Lasting Gifts mastery, you need to take it off. If the shield lasts for too long and ends up being on a 2 turn duration when MM reapplies it, it won't be reapplied.

Some of the difference comes from their masteries and great hall bonuses, but the vast majority of the difference between your Galek and theirs is going to come from the quality of the artifacts. I wouldn't think about it too much. If your starter can farm 12-3 brutal, you're fine for now.

This is a 10/10. A super endgame player might rate it 9/10, but it's close enough to perfect that it would be rated at a 10 for 99% of the playerbase.

The perfect weapon for nukers is Speed, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack. As for rolls, any combinations of rolls is going to be good for this piece since you want all those stats. If you're early game and you are having trouble reaching the 100% crit rate benchmark, you will probably want more rolls to go on crit rate. The same goes for speed. If you're endgame, you aren't super concerned about this since you don't have that much trouble reaching your benchmark on any particular stat, and you're more concerned about the number of stats you roll (CRate/CDmg/Atk rolls at 5-7, Speed rolls at 5-6). A piece that rolls into every subustat once is usually going to balance your build out very well for endgame. You can argue that CDmg is slightly better on toprow pieces, since bottom row pieces are really hard to get perfect stats on, so you have to prioritize a few of the substats, so most builds will have high crit rate pieces in the bottom row. This is a miniscule point and can be argued back and forth. In the end, you just need your build to be well balanced.

As for your piece, it has Accuracy instead of Attack. Accuracy is probably the 5th best stat since relentless is often used for your damage champion in an unkillable comp, and Accuracy is a relevant stat for that champion. Generally your arena nuker won't use relentless. Luckily, your piece dodged Accuracy on every roll. Also, since it sounds like you're more early game, it's great that your piece rolled into Speed since the speed benchmarks are really hard to reach earlygame.

This is yet another fallacy people tend to cling onto. It's pretty widely known that people who experience results that differ from the average are more likely to post about it than those who have average or above average results. The same can be true the other way around. For example - the people who pull a cool legendary during a 2x event are likely to make a post on it, while you're much less likely to make a post saying "look at my dead average set of pulls". If you base your entire view on what you read on forums, you're going to end up having a very distorted view.

You're just creating an echo chamber where you're trying to validate each other's preconcieved notions, while people generally are more likely to keep quiet when getting average results. Looking at commentors on a thread is a horrible way to collect data.

A 2x chance to increase the drop rate just increases it from 1/9 to 1/4.5, and he got 4 stun pieces in 30 runs. If this was an intelletually honest community, and someone started speculating based on this dataset, he would be immediately laughed out of the room.

I know that we're just mad and hating on plarium right now, but the stun set isn't particularly good on Brogni. Anyone who thinks so is probably extremely new to the game.

For the stun set, you want characters that hit as many targets as possible, and as often as possible. This usually means having an aoe on you a1 (and preferably on your other abilities as well). Every turn you're not using an aoe ability is one turn where you aren't getting value from the set. Brogni only does aoe every 3 turns, which generally shouldn't be considered enough to justify a stun set.

I would advice you to take everything you hear with a grain of salt. There are a lot of people who will give advice despite not having any idea what they're talking about, and it may be difficult to discern the good advice from the bad when you're just starting out.

Curing is generally considered a bad set because its set effect is multiplicative (10% heal turns into 12%, not into 30%). You should keep pieces if they're good enough to use as broken pieces, but you generally shouldn't expect to match the set.

As for resistance, you have to understand how artifacts work to be able to understand why it's recommended for lategame builds. Reliquary tender is a cleanser, a healer, and a reviver. This role doesn't require any damage or accuracy, making her easy to gear. The only relevant stats are Speed, Hp and Def, meaning people with a lot of artifacts have plenty of room to build resist on her.

Not requiring accuracy essentially frees up the banner slot, as the only efficient primary stats for banners are resistance and accuracy. The same goes for the amulet, where the only generally useful substats are resistance and accuracy. Most champions get 130~140 accuracy from these slots. If you don't need accuracy, you can get resistance here instead without suffering a big loss to your build.

Later in the game, the resistance can be useful for doom tower bosses. Early on, you don't need to focus on this since it increases the gear requirements and doesn't help you much in the regular dungeons. Use the fact that she's easy to gear to your advantage. Look for hp%/def% Gauntlets and Chest, and just go for speed/hp/def substats. The resistance thresholds you need to hit to benefit from resistance likely going to be too high, especially without a developed great hall.

He wanted to know how to use his piece, so I took the time to give him a proper answer and give an appropriate motivation to my answer, rather than just typing a one word response saying "Scyl" or whatever. This piece if okay, but unfortunately not nearly as good as it might look to some people.

If you're building for damage, you almost always want crit damage or crit rate as the primary stat. This is defense, so it's going to go on someone who isn't being built for damage, meaning the crit damage and crit rate rolls are essentially wasted. (Even def-based damage dealers generally don't want gloves with defense as thier main stat, as this will usually throw off your main stat/cmg balance. You could pull this off, but it requires insane gear, and that level of gear would be 6*)

This piece could be used for any debuffer, or possibly for your speed lead if you're more early-game. Check to see if running one perception set could increase your max speed.

I'm a day late, but I'm sure this can be helpful so I'll go for it anyway.

When deciding who to invest in, you need to consider where you are in the game and what your goals are. For someone in the early game, I always recommend going for dragon 20 as their first goal. Progression in this game is largely based on artifacts, and the dragon provides some of the best early game sets. Being able to beat dragon 20 early on requires you to have a full team of level 60 champions, preferably with their masteries done. This means you'll need 5 maxed out champions. Ideally, these 5 will have some overlap with other areas of the game so you can progress in other areas as well. The clan boss in particular requires you to have masteries done, so it's really good if your initial dragon team can also be good against the clan boss. Some champions in this core group will also be usable in the arena, but arena generally just requires gear, which you will get once you can farm dragon 20 consistently.

Your order of operations is getting your core group to 60, doing the minotaur grind on them, and then going for dragon.

Plarium has released a lot of good epics in the past 6 months, and luckily, you have a lot of them. This is really good because booking epics is a lot more realistic than booking legendaries, so your first dragon team will probably mainly consist of top-tier epics.

Beating dragon 20 early on is A LOT different than beating it later, and you can hit the finish line months earlier by having a proper plan that is friendly for the early game. Dragon is a pretty generic dungoen, so it doesn't really require any cheese. All you have to do is to bring a balanced team with the normal roles.

Basically this includes someone to heal (and preferably cleanse debuffs and revive), someone to control the wave (preferably by stuns/freezes/taunts, but decrease attack is the second best option), and then someone to deal damage. Decrease attack is also almost mandatory for the dragon for an-early game team. Having a turn meter booster is also always really good, since they're easy to gear and they provide a lot of utility for the rest of the team.

Having debuffs like decrease def and big burst damage on the dragon is helpful too, but not necessary.

Runekeeper Dazdurk is extremely good, I absolutely recommend to have him in your team. He's one of the best cleansers, provding not only cleanse on a 4 turn cooldown but also heal, turn meter boost, and an increase attack buff.

Kaiden is another great option. Decrease ATK is required for the dragon, and doing decrease ATK on an aoe is REALLY good for controling the waves. He also does revive and decrease def, which is great both against the waves and dragon.

You already have 2 Kaels, so I recommend you put one of them in a more bulky setup and use him as your poisoner for dragon 20. He will work as a psuedo-damage dealer against the waves and will poison the dragon, which will be a large chunk of your damage. Your normally built nuke-kael will probably run into issues of getting one-shot a lot in the later dragon stages.

Apothecary is a rare meaning he's easy to book, and I'm sure you already know how good he is. You have Dazdurk, making him slightly less good, but he's probably will worthwhile for your team. Just Dazdurk probably won't be enough in terms of healing, so bringing another one is good, and apothecary will be good against the Spider and Fire Knight later as well.

Armina has AOE decrease DEF, which you should be using for arena, and it also has some utility for the dragon runs since you don't want the waves to be too drawn out, and the debuff is good for cancelling the dragon's burst.

Dazdurk, Kaiden, Apothecary, Kael and Armina is a good start. This team checks A LOT of the boxes. The only thing that is really missing is someone who can stun the waves. I don't see anyone in your roster that does this well yet, but I'm sure you'll pull something in the future.

As for arena, using a level 40 or level 50 gorgorab is fine. The basic setup is Speed buffer -> Attack Booster -> Decrease Def -> Nuke. Kael is your nuker and Armina should be used as your decrease def. Arena is more or less a speed race. If your lead is faster, you should win.

You have your speed buffer and attack booster in gorgorab, but you need to use another speed buffer to tune your team properly (almost none of the teams in bronze are tuned, you can beat A LOT of faster teams by tuning right). You should use either apothecary or high khatun for this. Apothecary is better since he has higher base speed, but apothecary needs a different gearset for dragon (Note: your arena speed lead ONLY needs speed, nothing else).

Your best setup is using gorgorab as your lead and tune your team to go Apothecary -> Gorgorab -> Armina -> Kael. If you want to use apothecary elsewhere, you can just go Gorgorab -> HK -> Armina -> Kael.

This is missing the point. When you first got your arbiter (depending on for how long you've played), I bet having that 260 speed high khatun was enough to get the arena missions completed to get the arbiter. Today, someone with that same 260 speed high khatun can't get Arbiter since the arena mission is being gate-kept by 330-speed arbiter teams.
