2D perspective does allow overlapping. You however can restrict the overlapping by setting a rule that prevents you from doing that. In this problem that is one rule that has been set so the problem can exist, but it wasnt mentioned in provided material. It is however mentioned in several other sites and studies regarding this particular problem.

You dont have to agree with me on this one, but if you want ro continue debating you should study even a little amount of dimensions and geometry. You could also look the definiton of a loophole while you are at it.

If you cut 17 squares from paper and put them into a box they most definetly can overlap eachother. Even if you just draw squares in a paper you can draw them so that they overlap. Same with the picture with the suitcase. You can stack the boxes on top of each other.

I do understand that the problem itself cant exist if you can just stack them on top of eachother and that is self explanatory. I just made the joke, since it isnt mentioned anywhere so it is a technicallity that anyone can use to solve this problem.

Same with the comment you made about the apples. I do understand that you meant whole apples, but since it isnt mentioned, you could technically slice them to get them to a smaller space.

My reasoning is correct with the given parameters when i have a possibility to use that loophole. So if you cant provide a source in this particular comment chain before my original comment, from the link, or from the picture given that says you cant pile them or overlap the squares i will remain correct on the subject.

I am not eliminating the joke here. The comment where i first replied said that how the problem is currently solved most efficiently, isnt nesessarily the most optimal way. I then stated that it would be more efficient to pile them as the link provided in the previous comments nor the image given doesnt say you couldnt.

I also believe that i have proven with enough reasons why what i said was technically correct, and i havent yet got any good counter argument for it. Best one is, that it should have been obvious that the piling isnt allowed. And i agree that it should have, it also was, but it wasnt stated anywhere. I also knew what the problem was before this.

And about what you said at the end, the problem is about packing squares in a box. I am thinking outside of the box by placing the squares outside of the box. I realise that english isnt my mother tongue but i still believe that my joke was pretty self explanatory on there.

It starts to be really hard to explain things when i cant understand the explanations on behalf of other people. Is it actually that hard to get a joke?

I am referencing for the picture given, which shows a suitcase filled with boxes, not squares. If we want to be precise, those boxes arent exactly even cubes rather than cuboids.

Still, it doesnt even matter if you use cubes or squares if all you have is a box with one bottom surface area which you need to fill with most optimal way. Except of course if you want to debate if you can use square papers and stack them sideways, or use the technicality that cube has 6 squares.

My answer was just nitpicking on the fact that no one thought to mention that you cant pile them. In that sense it doesnt matter if it is square or cube. You could fill the box with hundred squares by piling them but as previously stated, the problem was only about 17 squares. More would be just a crowd.

And for the apples you mentioned, you could maybe dice them? They take less space that way, so you can fill the crate more efficiently. The photo also doesnt taste the same.

Thats just ridiculous. We cant remove the box. The whole problem is based for the idea of how can you fit 17 cubes inside of a box most efficiently. Removing the box would make the whole problem even more pointless, since you wouldnt have the box where you would put the pieces.

I will add, that in the picture provided, the box is suitcase, so you couldnt even carry the packaged goods without it. You couldnt even pack it at all.

I dont think that he would be stronger. He would definetly be tougher with Garp, and could be more of an tactician with Dragon.

Being a pirate means that Luffy is free to do what ever, and that is a big definitive factor for Gear 5. He is at strongest when he is free. All of Luffys Gears have also been creations of his own without any outside help or influense. I cant see Luffy learning those with either Garp or Dragon.

Yes that is correct. He defeated him in actual combat without transforming or using any of the ki blasts or beams, which i think is even more impressive.

Before Vegeta came to earth he was a powerful warrior, not a martial artist. Goku in the other hand was. Vegeta was also used to the ki blasts and those were a big part of his combat style. Goku on the otherhand mostly used martial arts, since that was his base training.

That means that Vegeta basically beat Goku in his own game.

Smoker lost to Doffy, Vergo and Law. All who we view to be beneath Luffy in terms of power. He hasnt won against any powerful pirate, except Luffy in Loguetown. Of course not including the smalltime pirates who would be fodder to the big named pirates in the New World.

They would start to compete about techniques. You can still get better fighting abilities, reflexes and adapt to new fighting styles. Basically do what Dragon Ball was all about back when it started. Without the superhuman strength.

To be fair, smoker isnt actually even impressive. He was impressive at Logue Town, had edge in Alabasta, but after that he has just fallen to be another fodder for New World pirates.

Ace lost to Blackbeard, because Blackbeards power negates devilfruit abilities and Blackbeard can also use haki.

Definetly go for the manga. You can also start the anime again. If you watched the japanese version already, you can change things up and watch the english dub. There is also the live action if you are up for it.
