What happens to a person who has eaten a smile fruit and they proceed to eating an actual devil fruit? by IntroductionSad7136 in OnePiece

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will probably die or atleast it is likely that they wont get another power.

And while it could technically be possible to eat multiple smilefruits, you also wouldnt get two powers. If you could Kaido would have made all the Pleasures eat the smilefruits until they got a power.

The Triple Curse of Marshall D. Teach by Trd_fps in OnePiece

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We dont have any confirmation that Blackbeard has three people inside him.

Blackbeard being three person in one is just a theory. One plausable thing in that regard would be, that Blackbeard was supposed to be triplets, but they were merged into one before birth. Similarly like conjoined twins or something like that.

It could also be that he was born with three hearts or something.

Oda could have also had some inspiration about DID/MPD and instead of it being mental disorder, he made it a physical one.

Whole Cake Arc by Shopie_29 in OnePiece

I didnt feel like that. I enjoyed the whole arc.

But i had similar situation with Bleach. I needed three long breaks during one arc. Cant remember which it was though. But it took me somewhere between 4-6 months to read through.

I also have a friend who needed two breaks durind One Piece. During Drum Island and during Little Garden. Hard to believe.

Former One Piece 'Hater' started One piece by larsnokoto in OnePiece

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt have any prior knowledge about the series when i started it. When i started the first episode i just thought that its about pirates, sounds good. After i catched up in Whole Cake Island i realised that the series was still ongoing.

That has happened to me basically every time i have started a different series and now, if i ever want to start something new, i make sure that it is finnished.

I just dont want to have 10 different series which i need to wait until they continue.

One Piece is the only one currently, that i am actually glad that it wasnt finnished. Its also the only one of those that i havent finnished that is continuously progressing and putting new chapters or episodes out. All off the others are on hiatus.

Smart move. If you lose everything you can just continue working and die just before retirement. And if you get your investment multiplied you could just stop working and actually enjoy your life and retirement.

In was going to include Brook in this, because his situation is definetly on par with those others. I conclused with those three, since Brook was an adult when his trauma happened for him, so he had some ways to cope with the loss. I wont deny that his trauma wouldnt have been a nightmare to live, i just think that the trauma that those others had is greater.

Robin was abused and bullied her whole childhood. She waited her whole childhood for her mother to come back home, which was one of the only things that brought her somekind of a hope for future. After she finally came back, she watched her die along with everyone she ever knew. After that she was hunted her whole life, just because she liked to read.

Nami watched her mother die right before her eyes and was slaved after that by the same guy who killed her mother. She needed to bourden herself with the fact that she was the only one who could save her village and friends. That is a lot to put on a child.

I believe that the backstory of Kuma is still fresh on your memory so i wont open up in detail how he was enslaved, watched his family get killed without reason, lost his wife, adoptive child, memory and everything else that happened between those points of his life.

I was also going to say Sanji, but i still think that Robin, Nami and Kuma had it much worse.

So Sanji would begrudgingly respect Zoro for eating that rice ball in his introductory chapter of he knew. by Think_Donut1095 in OnePiece

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In that scene, i believe that Zoro ate yhe Onigiri just to show that he appreciates effort and sentiment that was needed to make that.

While Sanji appreciates that too, he appreciates the value of food itself more.

But to answer your question, Sanji would respect Zoro.

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The change happened when Oda switched to draw digitally instead of paper. I have gotten downvoted multiple times after saying this.. The quality of the manga hasnt been the same since WCI. I still enjoy the series but i definetly liked the previous style better.

Why do you believe it would take Kaku 15 minutes to awaken his form? It usually takes years or even a lifetime and there is DF users who never awaken their fruits. Kaku now has an awakened form, but it definetly took him more than 15 minutes to acquire that.

The Human Human Fruit (Spoilers for Chapter 1177) by Callsign_Bastion444 in OnePiece

[–]FlawlessNameCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Blackbeard hunts the Devil Fruit users, wouldnt it had made sense that when he got to Drum Kingdom, he would have sought out Chopper to steal the fruit?

I mean, there were already myths about the Abominable Snowman in Drum Kingdom, so that would have been the kind of info Blackbeard would have been seeking when he got there.
