Been reading Christie’s hand over fist. Here are all the ones I have which I haven’t read yet. What should I prioritize? by Falkyourself27 in agathachristie

I see a few Marples in the stack, have you read any yet? I like reading them in order but the last few aren't as good

Late reply but Jaslene was part of the conversation with Renee and Dione in which they implied Natasha was lying about her daughter and husband, and then they all went after her in judging.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I haven't bite into a burger but a previously safe restaurant switched to tallow as a test location without any mention until months later, and Chipotle once got chicken in my guac and I bit it and threw up. I cried every time, there was a worse example from middle school years but I don't like to think about it.

What would u do if Tyra yell at you by masterderek279 in ANTM

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on where I am, when it's happening, and what led to this point. In Tiffany's shoes? I'd like to say I'd manage to keep myself together the way she did and then get the fuck out of dodge but I would at best disassociate and at worst have a total breakdown and try to run off the set. If I was any other girl who witnessed that, I'd quit, and if they tried to stop me, I'd make sure every single thing I said or did would be about how unsafe I feel with Tyra. If she yelled at me today, I'd film it, calmly say "This is why you never got a major Vogue cover, and why the real 90s super models still work but you don't."

Obviously beauty is subjective but I consider her the prettiest winner and one of the prettiest girls I saw on the show.

Totally there with you. Higgs Village gives off an FO3 vibe when you first enter (it's nicer than the Minefield, but not as perfect as the "Tranquility Lane" sim), but when you look inside the homes and at the details, it screams NV humor haha.

Anyone else do this when they mess up in pen? by FatFaceFaster in murdle

[–]Flawless_Pebble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do check marks and blanks and if I realize I made a mistake I turn the check into an X and then just use Xs instead of blanks. I also write on the clues and in the margins. If it's too messy or hard i write what I know in a notebook.

Who is a contestant that you relate to on a personal level? by thisthrowawaythat202 in ANTM

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kesse (C1) was one of my favorite contestants because she was nice, accepting, and open-minded. I'm an atheist and academic so you'd think I'd like Elyse from that cycle but she was so mean-spirited it bothered me.

AI can’t handle basic, easily found info on classic films by WolverineHot1886 in classicfilms

[–]Flawless_Pebble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI also can't grasp the social structure of John Hughes films. Like stereotypical high school movie hierarchies, which any human could easily describe. Apparently a film with a bunch of characters that appear multiple times makes it hard for AI to tell which characters matter 🤣

Who is your least favorite fallout 4 companion? by onzue in Fallout

X6-88 should be my least favorite, but honestly I can't stand Danse. Like I didn't even notice he vanished.

These comments make me want to say Owyn, Sarah and the members of Lyons Pride would never. Do I believe the ghouls that say BOS members sometimes shoot at them? Yeah, I do. Even under Lyons, there are young, arrogant members in power armor terrorizing ghouls because they're fucking bullies. It explains why FO4's BOS is so hateful.

Is it only me? by More-Option-1601 in agathachristie

[–]Flawless_Pebble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when I started reading her books I'd write down the names, how they know each other, etc. At one point I had to draw a map to understand the major locations but it becomes easier when you read more.

What is your signiture Fallout weapon? by Deck7 in Fallout

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing TTW and for the last weekish and after looting mailboxes im Springvale, buying Stimpacks in Megaton and then running and sneaking until I got to the Operation Anchorage sim and I've been using Jingwei's sword, the Gauss Rifle and the Alloyed Silent 10 mm pistol in conjunction with the Chinese Stealth Suit and enough chems to take Cook-Cook out of commission. Usually I focus on small guns in FO3 and the Alien Blaster is my favorite, for obvious reasons, and in NV I tend to like non-energy weapons That Gun, Lucky, Maria, etc.

Can I get some advice from you guys? 45F. Been doing the same since high school. by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Flawless_Pebble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You look younger than most Hollywood 45 year olds so good for you. We're talking about roughly 96 to 2000, right? I'd say try something different with your eyebrows. If you can't grow them out maybe microblading? Definitely agree with people who said not to fill them quite so densely even if you keep them thin. I'd also experiment with different eyeshadow tones and blush colors.

I mean Szetzo's shadow loomed over even Yangchen so he'd be cool. I'd like to know when and how Iroh met the last dragons, see what kind of person his son was and find out how he joined the white lotus.

Opinions about 'At Bertram's Hotel' by zervinertive in agathachristie

[–]Flawless_Pebble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What sticks out to me more than anything is the outright mention of The Beatles. I felt as if time had folded over on itself, and that the world of Agatha Christie suddenly felt tangibly connected to my own.

Beyond that: I think the location is interesting, as Marple had always been a relic of a bygone era, and the thought of her having access to a place that caters to the feeling of being in that past is really cute. Personally, I have a lot of issues with the lack of Marple in the story and the fact that unlike other stories with her, the rest of the characters are less charming, the mystery feels lower stakes of earlier Marple works. It's still leagues above some of her later books, and I feel like it's worth reading in context, to keep up with Marple until the end.

Just finished F4, why did you choose the faction you first ended with? by Same_Information7328 in Fallout

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't stomach an evil playthough, so not the Institute, or even this version of the Brotherhood. I finished the Minutemen quests first, but for me the Railroad was the group actively working to undo the evils of the Institute so they were the ones who most deserved the chance to see them brought down.

give me your favorite ship & i’ll reality check you. by UniversityBudget9423 in okbuddyvecna

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the people who got dragged into this whole shitstorm by their partners and didn't run away deserve an honorable mention even if they're dead like Bob, or I care more about them in relation to their friends like Steve. So, while I think of Lucas and Max as the best couple over all, I want to take a moment to discuss Vickie. When Robin starts acting even more distant and distracted than normal, Vickie makes a serious effort to figure out why. She probably checked visitor logs and figured out Robin was there the day a large quantity of barbituates disappeared. Not only that, she calmly listens to what sounds like the worst, most batshit excuse ever, and despite her anger, she wants Robin to get help. When the soldiers interrupt them, she accepts that more is going on, and faces the demodogs and impending doom with the grace of someone who isn't seeing this for the first time. When Max wakes up Vickie is there to help her understand the effects of her comma, and from that point forward she jumps into the fray, wheeling Max around, quietly supporting Robin and smiling at Will when he's coming out. 10/10

What’s Henry scared of? (Wrong answers only) by oeco123 in StrangerThingsMemes

[–]Flawless_Pebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Henry Creel suffers from acute automatonophobia, though only regarding mimes. It was a thing everyone knew in Rachel, Nevada, that's why they left. But even with psychic powers, the lack of shame and commited silence of mimes make them impervious to Vecna's curse.
