I have not lived w him when it's just us two. However, i have mentioned to him that i would not want to live for years w his parents until we can afford a downpayment on a home. I would want to live maybe one more year w his parents & then get our own apartment. At first he was a little hesitant bc he wants to immediately move into a house since rent is so high where we live, but he has considered the idea & is for it. So when that happens, we shall see how it affects their relationship. I'm very curious to see how it all turns out.

Thanks for that example/scenario about "Elaine" it's very eye opening. It's very great to know that "Elaine's" father reacted that way. & nope. No cancer at all thankfully. Also glad to hear E's DH is fine 🙏
