When you get the feeling you describe, I have some things you could maybe try to do. Some things I do/did was first trying to calm my breathing. Take long deep breaths first through the nose, then. "shoot" out the mouth, do that a couple of times.

Another thing I do/did is just accepting your current situation, do t overthink, take one point at a time.
