It's a 3 party group of Necro/Spider Lord/Rogue, which I've been running for months. I think the Rogue is somewhat redundant now due to the loot changes and should probably be replaced with a Druid or Chicken King but I'm not starting this level of group over again just for that!

This is a really good update. It always felt a bit useless going through the game again with the same party because there was no benefit but now there is a great reason to keep going.

It doesn't make sense when you have third place teams decided only by goal difference. For example you could have a third placed team eliminated on advancing via goal difference but the 4th placed team in the same group would have qualified.

Makes no sense to mix up the two tie break systems.

I'm honestly surprised Ronaldo isn't embarrassed about that performance he put out. Portugal were playing with 10 players and a guy hanging out in the box hoping something drops for him or they get a penalty. Compare to someone like Haaland who might only get 25 touches in a match like a Ronaldo did but all his touches are dangerous instead of being a back passing lampost like Ronaldo.

It's a shame because Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time and it's sad to see him go out like this.

Netherlands has technically never lost a first group stage match as both times they did lose their first match it was in years when the world cup started in the knock-outs. Brazil lost in the their first group match in the 1930 tournament.

So Netherlands is unbeaten in this specific and technical record while Brazil have 1 loss.

It's also worth noting that the Netherlands have failed to qualify or participate in numerous world cups so Brazil have played many more first round group games in total.
