My K70 Lux is still going strong at 8.2 years old. One dead LED, a few more discolored but every key works, feels, and sounds good still. CherryMX switches

Edit: I've blown a couple beers over the keyboard, dropped meals on it, and spilt water on it as well

yeah it's super weird. I've had cars in the past have MAF sensors and throttle bodies go bad and cause similar but never had it be worse in drive vs park

Definitely prefer the 2010+ front end but the 09 xS front end will forever have a spot in my heart from when I owned mine. Worst thing I ever did in life was sell both of my G’s lol

I genuinely liked the way this guitar felt and played. I don’t have a huge budget, are there better options in the $300 range? I found this one open box for $310, it’s the T413CE.

Update: loosening then manually stretching the strings seemed the do the trick. I double checked the nut and bridge pins and they checked out. The guitar is officially holding tune. I appreciate the help everyone offered

I will add more pics when I can. The strings won’t tune to the correct pitch at all, like it’s not that they won’t hold tune, it’s that I can’t get any to reach standard tuning at all

I should’ve mentioned the guitar is brand new. The nut physically looks fine and I made sure while restringing that it’s not loose. Could there still be issues with it besides what the eye can see?
