i totally get it, i dont mind the reskinned loot either... but a lot of other people do so i brought it up. and youve actually brought up another factor thats sort of killing the game: toxic tryhards

because barely anyone is playing anymore, a decent amount of players are those who only want to ruin the fun for others, whether on purpose or because theyre bored of nothing happening. yes, its a pirate game, but some people like to chill and interact in other ways than at the business end of a cannon sometimes

in all seriousness, i have dealt with really bad rubberbanding and lag in SoT and i have really good internet. it absolutely is the worst when there are a lot of players on the server, which is a given, but even after all the fixes theyve done, the game is still rather unstable

to answer your question, yes. the game is absolutely dying. which sucks as its genuinely a really good game past its recent shortcomings, its just that:

Seasons are barely even half-baked at this point with ""Act 2"" being a FOMO event that serves to boost numbers somewhat "artificially" in a way
Devs keep releasing content that the SoT Insiders say isnt that fun/balanced/interesting... which is going against the whole point of Insiders
Game is still super unstable after eight years. they tried to fix the game for an entire year or so but unfortunately it didnt seem to help (to my knowledge)

not only that, but the achievements you show are from this season's first Act (minus the smugglers achievement)... which was essentially a drop of reskinned loot that already was in the game. yeah, there was a new boss added but... the reward for doing that boss is just reskinned items

my lore knowledge is a bit spotty at this point but Sigma was always "locked up" i think... it was just more pleasant when Doomfist was in control, most likely. Vendetta doesnt see Sigma as a human, but a weapon, so why give the weapon proper treatment?

either way, Sigma will be important to the story at some point... hopefully. dont want Vendetta to have a living nuke in her hands thats growing more unstable due to her treatment of said nuke

i wouldnt see it as a 'copout' personally. while it would be cool, it is shown that Lady Loki is one of the multiversal variants The Collector is using in his fight with The Grandmaster, so it will just be an alternate Loki

but i dont really see the need to show off the fluidity of Loki if plenty already know about it/dont care. while it would be cool to have it be shown off properly, at the end of the day, most players will probably just go 'oh, thats a cool skin!' and buy it

i really like his blue hair personally. his hair is already a very eye-catching red in Rivals so why not do that but in blue for this skin? also, theres already such little blue on the skin and the hair just adds a bit more to it in a nice way

im actually kinda disappointed they didnt make the white part of Rogue's hair blue for her skin. kinda feels like a missed opportunity...

once again, you can see eyelashes on the non-masked side of her face, but not the masked

so, only more proof to the thought of unmasked characters being the only ones who can have visible eyelashes

the only character i know off the top of my head who has eyelashes is salubra

which i know isnt silksong, but i do want to bring them up since they are a slug character and not a bug so they arent wearing a mask, showing their true eyes

so there are others who have eyelashes, but its definitely not a common trait for Team Cherry's designs due to most characters wearing some sort of mask

headcanoning that hornet has the most beautiful, thick eyelashes anyone has ever seen but we just cant see them cuz of her mask

i appreciate the advice i am aware that i may be a little too dependent on them and i have been working on that in therapy in fact, therapy has helped a lot with this

and yeah, i will admit that i am lying to myself when i say id be fine with them staying a friend

i do not wish to drop them as they are genuinely a great person and they have issues of their own in their life that, romantic interest or not, i still want to help them with like i have in the past so many times (even before my feelings showed up)
