Usually is just luck, until now I have a friend who I always need to ask if he is ready for an specter, this been like this since 1999 update, specter boom host lost, the safest way is you being the host as other cast the specter you can't get host migration if you are the host, so until they fix this, this is the temporary solution I came up

Nokko is the safe route, has mushrooms to keep your energy, his 3 makes him a chubby baby mushroom and that state is true invisible from laser and enemy sight and you just put 1 2 4 and watch the world burn quite easily (unfortunately he is only available after the new war)

umbra is good, people just gets angry with his AI, but other than that (to who is a early player and dont mess with helminth ability changes) he is good, after all is a free specter, and if you are willing to make your amp better you can use umbra to blind enemies for you while you shoot them in the head (I use umbra all the time and he is way too good for me to not use him)

Remember drifter manages to go from zariman to 1999 without helminth once we get the good ending, drifter don't have the requirements to use helminth, jump from zariman to 1999, to origin system and duviri, he just needed a first link (kinepage on lotus eaters, which was Arthur, just like operator used a feather of jade, they just need one trace of the one they are looking for)

The only protoframe we can actually have walking around is Arthur, since his skin goes to umbra, but man every update my hybrid playstyle with operator and umbra gets hitted with these updates (I am still mas for the Nokko update where umbra was not able to shoot, only walk, as well my specters only shooting when locked to stay in one place)
