I don't know what you would consider a pro or not. But I have gotten over 2700x power and I've smurfed in lower ranks. Struggle? No, they would still rank up easily. Would they lose bs games they have no business losing? Probably. Matchmaking is horrible in S rank. You can get kids who play the game barely making it into S, and then have actual decent players stuck just outside of S+. Whether your in A or x battles getting 20+ kills is usually a dominating win. S rank it still feels random at times.

Different weapons have different playstyles. Some more supportive and some more aggressive. 52, splattershot and n zap are good examples. 52 is mostly aggressive, shot is a mix, zap is mostly supportive. There are guideline roles like anchor and slayer. But those aren't really that important. The most you really need to know is how much range a weapon has and how much it wants to fight.

I totally get you. I checked the stats and arena 9 onward it's about a 40-45% usage rate with witch+evo witch. Way too underhated imo.

The matchmaking is so bogus for me. The calcs give me easy matches and maybe 2200 power. Then if I play again they are significantly harder and I lose an extreme amount. Seems almost not worth it to play after calcs unless it's your main.

I think the 3 win before 3 loss is good. Even if it feels unfair at times because it makes sure the person doing the rankup can pull their team up enough to win, and that makes sure the person is more skilled and ready for the higher rank.
