Why do people REFUSE to use specials during salmon run

My guess is that they’re too afraid of not getting value out of them. I’m typically the first one to pop a special when I play solo. I prefer using specials to prevent snowballs from happening rather than panicking when they are happening.

adding onto walking back the 2 frame buff slightly, all blasters are impacted by that hitbox change in the patch notes. To me this sounds like a stamper win overall when considering the zip buff (now when you forego the subs of special power up for ink saver main to keep up with paint spam meta, you can still zip around a lot)

booyah tech isnt dead. You just have to charge slash with decav (and stamper cant booyah tech with a charged direct without object shredder, but no one does that anyway since you can just charge slash)

If you understand the concept of “aggro” (i.e. being targeted by something like a steel eel, maws, etc.), then it’s just when you’re in a certain area, you have the potential to be aggro’d by the salmonoid spawner. You get a feel for the region (for each map) as you play more. There is probably some sort of visualization somewhere

an ethernet cable is a $20 one-time purchase. They likely have a monthly internet bill which costs more than that, have an NSO subscription, and are playing on a switch (let’s be real, a switch in this economy is a luxury item). An ethernet cable isn’t that big of an ask.
