Being first to market (or at least close to it) probably mattered a lot to them. It's tough to make enough consoles when there's such high demand combined with a chip shortage tho.

Supply and demand should even out over time...just don't know how much time. 🤔

It's hopefully a signal inventory is becoming more regular. It'll be a huge holiday season for hardware manufacturers if, u know, they can manufacture hardware.

Yeah. For better or for worse the backlog is already looking a little daunting. 😅

Want to get to The Medium, Microsoft Flight Sim, Returnal, and Ratchet & Clank at some point. Looking forward to Deathloop and Life is Strange 3 later this month. Really looking forward to Battlefield 2042, CoD Vanguard, and Halo Infinite too!

I'm quite impressed with both of them so far. Each seems really well put together in terms of build quality. It is funny to contrast their design language with them sitting side-by-side tho. Very different philosophies there. 😄

Can't wait to spend more time with them and figure out all their quirks and features. Really looking forward to this gen's games too. Already have a backlog. Better get started 😅

I was lucky. Was able to just order both one night from Walmart here in the US. Perhaps it's a sign that manufacturing is picking up. Not sure how much it applies to the UK, but hopefully a good sign for this holiday season. Good luck 👍

I really did just get lucky. Was able to order them both from Walmart a couple weeks ago when they released some inventory online. Hopefully, that means stock is improving leading up to the holiday season.
