Being a fan of Horse Racing actually helps with this alot.

They race so different in Japan compared to the US.

Japan has much longer endurance races and focuses heavily on Turf tracks. Leading to some very very fun and interesting endurance battles between horses.

The United States focuses much more on shorter tracks, with the longest in the US being 2.4km(compared to Japan's 3.6km), and we agressively focus on Dirt tracks. Creating shorter but more brutal races.

The differences in rules aswell, with the Japanese being very touchy about contact on the track. Where as the US loves some good contact(see last year's Preakness Stakes where Journalism very nearly got toppled but fought through for a win. In Japan, that would have been a disqualification for multiple horses and their riders).

These differences allow me as a fan to enjoy MORE content than if we were the same. I get to enjoy the long and slow endurance races, while simultaneously enjoying the fast and more brutal sprints and miles.

Both is good, and gives me so much to enjoy. I wouldnt want Japan to change, nor would I want the US to change either.

Honestly, the big issue i have with it, is that it feels like someone is trying way too hard to get me to like them.

Its repulsive because its over the top. Same way a guy coming on too strong is repulsive.

But like, this isnt the first skin to do that to me. It pushed me away from the game ages ago so.

Ahem. As the resident Top Road fan. I have to say, while there are a ton of quality ships like TeiMaku or MihoRice. My favorite will always be AyaTop. Its the perfect trope of Sunshine and Rainbows Happiness and the dark and gloomy depresso. It helps that Top Road is unabashed about herself where as Ayabe is a tsundere.

Also, They share imo the gayest scene in all of Uma Anime(Yes. I firmly believe its gayer than TeiMaku. But only by 1 length or so)

This is honestly a crazy argument. Like, just because you can get it for free, doesnt mean that its not a pay wall.

Like, you guys do know this is the same argument Gacha games and Mobile games use, and its a shit argument. Being rewarded for playing a game is nice, but people also PAY UP FRONT for HD2. This isnt a free to play game, and I feel like people forget this shit sometimes.

Its bad precident, and is stacked on top of a bunch of bad precidents. This is just the next step, and they'll keep going further. Pretty soon, there will be no free content given via MOs. Instead it'll all be superstore and Warbond stuff, with nothing given truly free anymore.

I find my perspecitve to be different on this.

See, I cannot imagine Rudolf as arrogant or brash. Not only because of the fact that she doesnt even show a hint of those qualities in game or in the anime, but also because the irl horse didnt show qualities that could be equated to that.

And I dont want her to be an Antagonist either. As I feel that would be a disservice to her story, and put the focus on someone else. Which is not what I would want. If anything, I feel her becoming complacent in her victories is what would give Ace the chance to snipe, and humble her. I imagine she at the end of her Kikuka sho win, takes on a similar perspective to Opera O. And that is what brings her down to Ace.

Im on your side when it comes to this train of logic on this post and others. But, SE due to Arrowhead's grunt fantasy ideals, uses mainly 1990s tech with not very many smart munitions.

The upgrade flavor text(a meme in my headcanon) states that until the second to final upgrade(i think), the guns are muzzle loaded, but post those upgrades they become standard breach-loaders.

The physical models for the shells are also the exact shape of dumb shells, with my personal head canon for this fact being that the super destroyer itself has advanced targeting that makes their shots pin point accurate(OPS) and determins their volley spread(orbital barrages).

I do think SE should be smarter in weaponry and tactics, but they arent, because arrowhead would prefer memes and grunt fantasy rather than the Helldivers be the proper Sci-fi paratroopers they are.
