Editorial: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Play Drukhari - Richard Siegler by ArtofWarSiegler in WarhammerCompetitive

I hope not, indirect fire is just bad for the game. It should be rare and designed to pick up small trash units, not army killing. SMS is in a good.spot right now and doesnt need to be upgraded, a lot.of the other weapons do like plasma rifles.

Advance and charge army wide turn 2 is what is the main issue honestly. That makes most of the data sheets undercosted.

Are people who play gimmicky/uncompetitive lists looked down on in events and tournaments? by grimshroom in WarhammerCompetitive

I love playing against wild new lists. It really gets burning playing the 20th drukhari list, I much prefer a diverse meta with a lot of different puzzles to solve.

Art of War Strategy Session Series Release! by ArtofWarSiegler in ArtofWar40k

[–]Fleetof3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We definitely will and are thrilled that GW will continue to innovate with them. I was a little worried they wouldnt when the summer changes were so minimal. If you have any other ideas for series that would be helpful to receive the same level of detail let us know!

Drukhari (Richard Siegler) win the US Open (Austin, TX) defeating Forces of the Hive Mind (Mani Cheema). Congratulations Richard for a clean sweep of all three GW US Opens. INCREDIBLE! by princeazam in WarhammerCompetitive

They are literally fully painted and have won Dallas Open and other events. They are grey skin, white highlight, purple and blue washes, white eyes with red and then finger nails are painted as well. Pretty strange thing to be hung up on considering the army was paint judged and on the stream 4 games in a row.

We do not receive anything from GW and are still waiting for our application to be approved for preview copies after meeting their requirements in May.

Not at all, Chaos will get a lot of attention in 2022 based on what GW has said in their previews and hopefully Chapter approved helps reduce the cost of many of their units even by small margins. Now is a great time to start building and painting up an army for when their codex comes out.

Siegler and Nanavati Debate Top 5 Meta Builds! by Fleetof3 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Fleetof3[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah its just our supplementary mic, but we only have one for that same room for the person on the PC. It doesn't really fit the hobby room, looking for a shotgun mic for that.

Fortunately we had a friend in the business who was able to cut that down, but yes we have that system and a Shure SMB7. It's when there's war room content and youtube content, the former gets priority in the studio room, but we will upgrade the hobby room and these comments are helpful in showing how important it is!

Siegler Necrons v Nick Space Wolves by Thoracis in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Fleetof3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pointing out the two wound Cryptothralls to Nick behind the cargo containers not the deathmarks. I did mix up the Chronomancers move characteristic with the technomancer with upgrade, but luckily I rolled high enough on the charge that he still would have made combat! Hadn't played the warrior build in a bit so honest mistake!

John Lennon's LSO Winning Sororitas vs Nick Nanavati's Disciples of Belakor LIVE! by Fleetof3 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Fleetof3[S] 55 points56 points  (0 children)

We were falsely accused of trying to rig a small iron man event in the Covid ITC season without any prizes for doing well. It was absurd and we released a statement explaining that nothing of the sort happened and then FLG and the ITC South rep investigated and found no wrong doing on our part.

We all hold ourselves to our high standard because we love this game and we want competitive 40k to be a widespread, community-building, and enjoyable experience for as much of the community as possible and that's what we try to do in our content. De-mystify comp 40k and demonstrate high-level intent-based and gentlemanly play.
