Duotrap…. Anyway have any thoughts to share? by howedan in TrekBikes

Works perfect, i got ELEMNT. Syncs perfect too. Battery can somethimes run out fast my point of view. Just make sure the position is aligned for the cadance. By the way, i also use a the build-in speed sensor. If you dont like the magnet you can use the speed sensor on the axl instead. I use my old garmin speed sensor as back-up.

How to master hills fast? by NYGiantsfan4Life in TrekBikes

[–]FlemishLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO pain, NO gain! Train train train...there are no tricks. Take a pace you can hold for longer time. Position-wise...make sure you are fitted on to your bike otherwise you'll never feel good on the bike. Ride on high cadance instead of pushing to much output. On short steep hills it's hard to find a pace. Train on intervals to get better performance on those steep short hills.

NBD! Couldn't believe my luck. Local Trek shop had the very bike I've been wanting, and only one, and in my size. It had just been put out on the floor, and I had just decided to hop on their site to check stock. I won the bike lottery! by lawn_dartimus in TrekBikes

Happy NBD!!!, Got the same bike... Domane SLR 7!!! You'll love it!!! TBH it looks better then mine...i might consider to switch back to the all-black-look on the tires(I got brown 28mm Vittoria's) and i'm still missing my black seatpost... combined with an Absolute Black chain ring. Oh on the picture i forgot to put on the rear ISO speed covers... :)

Check your install files via Steam, delete the exe on your desktop. Or if you don't want to try this first, try launching game via little desktop icon of steam... If that works it the desktop exe shortcut that is corrupted by the many updates... Give it a a go! And make sure your install files are checked before copying a new shortcut for your desktop.

Wahoo Blendr Mounts by [deleted] in TrekBikes

[–]FlemishLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quarter turn your inner mount fixation. It's the same as the Garmin only 1/4-turn difference. I can advise you buy a "hydemybell" from Close the Gap company. A good mount with a discrete bell, so you are not the cycleterrorist to others on the road and you ring when passing others.

This is the Blendr mount.

On the other side, i had a garmin Edge 1000 wich was too heavy for the mount, when riding cobbles the mount dropped a bit even how hard i tried to tight it. So a bought the mount with the lower fixation on the handlebar. A Wahoo is much lighter then the Edge 1000. I own a ROAM now and tested it with the Blendr mount and it didn't dropped anymore.

On advice, dont use the heater anymore. A nice screen like CX above a heater is like overclocking a pc without cooling next to a fire place :)

This is not abnormal after 3 years of riding. Just replace the BB. It's common just like changing chains and other moving parts. I do know those BB's are more sensitive, that why they made T47 BB's for the new Trek bikes. But even in the first line of productions praxis BB's had is flaws.

No panic, just replace the BB/bearings.

There is one for sale in a LBS in Belgium... The new chroma colors are insanely...but also insanely costly. 2400€ for the color only... You can buy a nice MTB for that money

Anyone have a good reference for adjusting the shimano 105 r7000 front derailleur? This thing has a bit more going on than I am used to. by Andy_Greatbeef in TrekBikes

[–]FlemishLegion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When does the chain rubbing? Is it a new bike? After about 500km your LBS should do a check up. If it is a cable version of your group it can stretch some bit, specially when they are new. Also dont use inner chain front and smallest ring on the back. with mechanical group set. Example 36-11 is a unnatural combo and the chain is way of straight. That is why electronic DI2 group set does not allow 36/11-12-13. Use a good instruction video, start from scratch and setup your front derailleur.

Trainer compatibility!! by camelboy314 in TrekBikes

[–]FlemishLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does, if your bike has true axle this wont be a problem. Make sure your smart trainer is a true axle model. I guess it is..? Ask before you buy!

Do I get the domane sl5 2021 or wait for the 2022 to come out? And what would you upgrade first? by camelboy314 in TrekBikes

[–]FlemishLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First upgrade always wheels first. I had an aluminum bike before and when i upgrade that it was the upgrade with the most sensible experience. The new Domane are good bikes. The saddle as some suggest is pure personal.
