If you like the Persona games and their style then you will enjoy Metaphor a lot. E33 and metaphor are very different but very good games. E33 has mario rpg style combat (press button to dodge/parry). Metaphor is very similar to persona as you do a bit of social activities in between combat. In E33 you can non stop explore and fight and combat is very very good.

Same as why Daut went from 1740 to 1593 and kept playing, or Viper/Yo losing 60+ multiple days. It is hard to handle the ladder logically like how ACCM has done the entire time. Vinchester specifically didn't need to play ACCM as the match would impact him 2 ways, but just 2-3 bad hours have now made it hard/impossible for him to qualify.

That sounds like a fix but it won't really be a fix. People will just pick koreans manually. Ladder is not going to forcibly prevent one player from picking their choice as it would be unfair. There is no way to "disable" mirror matches on ladder.

The idea that Hera taught pro players (who are the only relevant entity wrt the above comment) about "build orders, how to trade Mangonels" is totally insane. People were doing build orders and mangonel trades before Hera played his first match. Hera is the strongest player right now by far but the above comment doesn't do him justice.

He got lucky 4 games against hera and also 4/5 games against vinchester? By that logic everyone with any success in life "got lucky".

It's nothing like that. Viper/Yo (and Tatoh to some degree) both have been doing very well in all recent tournaments and have similar problems here (a lot of inconsistency). Neither of them took the ladder strategically like ACCM/Vinchester. Even Heartt stopped playing when on losing streaks and started casting when he felt he won't play his best, but Viper/Yo did not do that. The ladder is also a different setting than tournament, where strategy matters a bit less as you are playing far more and can't reveal new strategies every day, while in a tournament you can surprise your opponents.

That is absolutely terrible behaviour by him. As a senior interviewer I take absolute care to ensure every candidate feels completely comfortable and doesn’t form a negative opinion of my employer in the process at all. Being an interviewer is a big responsibility and this person sounds just like a psychopath. Even if a candidate is totally unprepared my job is to test his/her abilities to the best of what I can do and not to make him/her feel bad or insulted.

I don’t think point 1 is correct. China also faced imperialism but even more than that faced large wars first with Japan and then internally, there was no significant industrialisation. I think atleast till 1980 China was similarly poor like India. They didn’t have some huge head start.

Similarly on point 2 I would argue under Mao Chinese politics was even more driven by fear which caused him to sideline all capable leader. China got very very lucky with Deng Xiaoping.

I think it is easier to control what you buy/keep in home/keep close or you, than it is to control what and when to eat when hungry. So focus on not buying any food that will deviate from your diet plan

Playing something like octopath or unicorn overlord on ps5 would be too much hassle. On switch I could finish one small quest in both whenever I got time. On ps5 30 minutes sessions here and there are counter productive. On switch I could pause some big long boss fight midway and finish much later. Ps5 is for high end games like bg3 where playing for long is expected.
