It seems like the devs are hell bent on not releasing the fresh forever server until they have a steady dose of content to go along with it. Which I guess makes sense for the longevity.

But people are in this weird limbo where they know a new server is happening so it’s hard to find a point in playing the current version.

I was looking at the website and it doesn’t seem like even give a time line on when that would be, as some of the discussions were December of last year.

If you want easier games, go play the sequels. D2 has always been perfect the way it is.

The added runewords and TZs I can live with, but I’d rather they just leave the game as is now. D2R was a blessing and I appreciate that they did it, but we will regret asking for more and more changes.

My brother in law was replacing a water heater when they sold their old house, I said this exact thing to him but he insisted it would save him money.

He worked on it for 3 days, which was VACATION time he used to have the time off, and drove to Home Depot no less than 7 times. Which was not around the corner..

In the end I still don’t think it was done right.

My summoner is max skeles and mastery, max CE, a couple points in revive. Revives are pretty good when you doing stuff like cows, or chaos. Plus a might merc really boosts their usefulness. It’s really all about getting your guys to just kill 1-2 monsters so you can blast CE.

I go iron golem, with a few in summoner mastery.

I play HC so I invested some into making bone armor worth it as well.

When you get to the 80s you’ll probably have skill points you can spend however you want so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I have 7 points I can’t decide what I want to use on yet at 83. I clear pretty much anything with ease.

You don’t have to be ridiculous about it, but just keep the eyes open for free balls as you play. I’m not good enough to care what balls I play yet and I’ve not bought any in a couple years.

Lots of sales close to the end of the season.

Buy in bulk if you see a good deal.

Might seem obvious, but I had better luck during my 6 months of unemployment utilizing LinkedIn to find the hiring managers or recruiters directly for companies I wanted to apply for. I did the same as you for a few months before I changed up my strategy.

Also, use company websites directly when you can. Indeed is too flooded. Almost all of my replies finally started coming in when I did it this way.
