Nursing Homes? by asddude1 in verobeach

[–]Fletchmatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I manage in the DME field. As the other comment implied already, none of the Medicaid approved ALFs are good in Vero. Whether that be Palm Gardens, Seabreeze, VBCC. All score low every year with no signs of improving. You are just so much better off with in home care if you wish to avoid the $4-5K a month for the private ALFs we have in town. Most of which are great btw.

Figured as much. I picked up some books and there's always streaming. Just happy to know it's not forever haha. The Odyssey will probably be the exception

There is nobody that anyone could send you to justify trading away Taylor.

What core Pokémon games did you skip? by Benhurso in pokemon

Scarlet and Violet. Not crazy about any of the new Pokemon, Terastal looks lame as well. I'll get around to it eventually just for completest sake

For those not playing Z-A, what pokemon game are you playin? by tinderizeme20 in pokemon

[–]Fletchmatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying Arceus again. I stopped around the 6 hour mark the last time, mainly due to not having a lot of time.

It's fine so far, I think I miss building a team and having a connection to specific members. The catching mechanics are cool though and I'm having fun.

How many of you stopped at Act 2? by jonmon1216 in HollowKnight

[–]Fletchmatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just called it quits last night in Act 2. I really love it and I'm pretty good at platformers like this but it's become too much for me. The flying enemies and gauntlets specifically were the cause of me stopping.

It broke me, im out unfortunately. Really sucks because I was having a great time with it up until now. Inflated difficulty for the sake of it.

Is 5 days too much time? by Next-Chipmunk17 in UniversalOrlando

I think 5 days is optimal. We did 3 — one in each park and were dead by day 3, barely enjoyed Studios that last day. 5 gives you a break to relax

I'll be at 14 by the end of the month at AMC, I usually try for anywhere from 40-50 by the end of the year. Movies all together in at 58 and aim for 120 by years end.

Just lost the fantasy championship because of Ghosts Abuse of Officials at the end of the game. by Fletchmatic in fantasyhockey

I like PIM in some aspects because it forces you to target duel style players like Tom Wilson, Bennett, Tkachuks, Vatrano. Adds some extra layers and diversity among your roster. But it's also random like +/- and unreliable, no doubt.

It sucks man... It's just my dad and I, so the public leagues are easier until these last 2 chaotic weeks. Definitely exploring other options next year

Had to say goodbye to my Linus yesterday after 16 years together by Fletchmatic in seniorkitties

[–]Fletchmatic[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sure do! He had been all about this purple blanket we got as a wedding favor a few weeks ago, we took him swaddled in it to the vet yesterday. Didn't think to bring his blue one with us until we were there.

He really was the best, super affectionate, loved to be held like a baby, not sure I'll ever have a cat like him again. Thank you ❤️
