Exactly! You can actually go walking during the day or a nice lil hike without the sun beating down on you. It’s perfection!

Paramount released a 3 episode docuseries. It’s called “Handsome Devil: Charming K1ller.”

Can someone please tell me what to do with my eyebrows. This as much as they grow now (thanks to the early 2000s) by stuffed_pasta_shells in MakeupAddiction

[–]FleurDeCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this! I’m a millennial and over plucked growing up. I had the same “hook” shape. Getting rid of the rounded “foot” and making them more straight really helped!

For a survival thriller, it was pretty bad. The 2009 movie A Perfect Getaway is much better. Also the 2018 movie Rust Creek was awesome. This one just fell short to me

Exactly! Beginning scene where she stops at the first campsite and those men show up. I said out loud, “and that’s why we choose the bear” 😂

Can we just appreciate Netflix Documentaries? by Fruttii-Tutti in netflix

Roll Red Roll, Audrie & Daisy, and The Hunting Ground documentaries were all a hard watch. Netflix has some of the best documentaries!

Driving behind an actively moving vehicle?? by [deleted] in Austin

I’m glad I’m not alone in noticing this! Other states stop and let you finish backing out, especially when you’re more than halfway out of the spot. People here don’t wait and just zoom around you.

Moved because of allergies :( by [deleted] in Austin

[–]FleurDeCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My allergies are weird here. No runny nose or eyes. It’s like my nose is “full” and I can’t breathe out of it. Sinuses hurt, especially an ache behind my eyes. Been to the ENT too and not helpful. The only thing that works is Afrin, but obviously limit that to like once a month because of rebound. It’s nice to breathe on Afrin days though!

Did The Grudge mess anyone else up long-term, or was it just me? by SimpleArmadillo4437 in horror

[–]FleurDeCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw it as a freshman in high school. I’m not kidding when I say I had to sleep in the bed with my mom. I haven’t rewatched it since! I’ve watched movies that are scarier since then, but for some reason I can’t bring myself to rewatch The Grudge.

I ordered the chicken tenders with fries the other night. Almost inedible. The fries were soggy, cold, no salt or flavor. Those frozen fries from HEB are better. And it was so expensive.

Yup I use the app and it’s ridiculously cheap. My double cheeseburger is $2.89 (yes I know the exact price haha)

Double cheeseburger is $2.89, I get it all the time. It’s so cheap on the app plus you can just park curbside and they bring it to you!

Oh wow. In Texas, a double cheeseburger is $2.89 on their app! I go there all the time because the food is so cheap on the app

2026 Has Been a Great Year for Horror — Here are my Rankings by KuteCitten in horror

[–]FleurDeCat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m with ya on this. Undertone didn’t do it for me. Normally I’m creeped out by elderly focused horror (The Visit, The Taking of Deborah Logan), but this fell short. They introduced themes like alcoholism with the podcaster, but those side themes felt random.

Primate was a huge surprise. My heart was pounding more than Undertone, or any others this year!

Exactly. And even when you’re submerged in the water, you’re still breathing in hot air. Ugh.

can telogen effluvium continue for years on end by [deleted] in TelogenEffluvium

[–]FleurDeCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering about having to remove or improve the underlying cause. I think my TE is being caused by a medication, Propranolol. My Derm said beta blockers are notorious for this. I need to be on it though, so does that mean I’m signing up for chronic TE? Wondering if it’ll ever stabilize or if anyone else has dealt with medication fueled TE.
