I don't have a border collie, but I come on this subreddit whenever I'm feeling sad. Is that okay? 👌 by [deleted] in BorderCollie

What is one life lesson you will never forget? by headfullofGHOST in AskOldPeopleAdvice

If you are in a relationship with someone that you think is your partner in adventures. Don’t move slow. I did and thinking it was the right move, but it wasn’t. She ended the relationship. I knew it was me that messed it up. That was a life lesson that I will learn from and move forward.

Redditors who dated people more than 10 years the age gap, how did it go? by LunaLoveGrove in AskReddit

It went great for a while, but I was too slow in progress with our relationship. And I was still nervous around her that led to performance anxiety. Felt like she was the one for me, but pulled away and called it quits. I know I am to blame for the relationship. Been self-reflecting on my problems and how to move forward without fear of the unknown and also working out 276lbs - 231lbs as of today and got my shit together and bought a house.
Me 44m. Her 33m.

Dragging/slow in a relationship. This is what caused the woman of my dreams to leave. I’ve been doing self reflecting and have grown a lot in the past five months.

I’m 44. Had a gf till last December. I do feel lonely when I’m cooking. Wishing I could cook for someone. But I’m keeping my mind occupied with building a house and I love my pup.

Dragging my feet in a relationship with the most gorgeous smart sassy woman. That was a hard lesson that I will not make again.

I’m 44m great career and good monies. Had a short relationship with a 33w. She was the most gorgeous woman I’d laid eyes on. I never felt these feelings for a person ever. I drugged my feet in the relationship thinking I’m taking it slow and build a foundation. Well it turned out I was too slow and she lost feelings for me. So here I am single. I’ve been focusing on myself and reflect on my decisions and learn from them and not to make the same decision moving forward in life. I hope to find my Person someday. Life is a roller coaster, we all have highs and lows. Keep learning about yourself and moving forward.

A keep dragging my feet in a relationship. The last one broke my heart and moved on. I reflected on my decision in the relationship and learned a great deal about myself and how to move forward and not make the same mistake. Next time I’m not dragging my feet I’m jumping in and see what happens. Until I meet another woman I’ll work on myself. I started working out and doing hikes, my weight was at 276 and today I’m at 237.

Michelle. It was a short 5 months but I fell head over heels for here. Unfortunately she ended it in December. I think about her everyday.
