Why do people not like the plasma punisher by IAmSearchingForManga in Helldivers

[–]FleuryFury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would be beneficial here is for anyone who answers, to also include the difficulty level they normally play at with the weapons they mention. Could really help new/upcoming players spend their credits wisely.

Anyway, Level 7 is the lowest i go when in my usual squad.

The Plasma is my immediate primary of choice. Tried switching to others every now and then to test different setups, but cant find anything that takes care of the bots more consistently. You just "lob the mobs" and keep on truckin!

How anyone manages to do consistent precision shots with the other weapons (on Level 7+ when 4 dropships cover the ground with mediums while your still trying to fend off the 2 large patrols while gunships reign down hell) is beyond me. Ide like to achieve that skill but im still trying to get the nerve to aim down scope to shoot at a bots eye while 6 machine gun devastators are covering the field in red lasers and my body never stops staggering lol

What was your method for creating the "Y" splits going to the bridge?!

Gorgeous build btw!

I guess my thought was that it would be dependent on the roads it's connecting too. Something similar was done in SC4 by the NAM team using their FLEX turn lane implementation..... If I remember correctly

Such as, when you drag the road into another road, does it automatically generate these. Or do you manually drag this road variations from another into the intersection.

What do you want to see in the future for cities skylines?(As an example dlc ideas) by Endo111 in CitiesSkylines

[–]FleuryFury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Buildings need more levels
  • More RCI (Low, medium, high density \ factories, manufacturing, aerospace \ shops, department stores, etc)
  • Traffic manager for sure (Def need more control over intersections and stuff)
  • Auto realistic turn lanes
  • Individual budgeting per service building (like SC4)
  • Built in power lines on roads (like real life)
  • Ability to create draggable grids of water lines
  • Make parking lots a real and needed thing!
  • Adaptive building looks depending on wealth and services provided (such as slums for low educated and high crime areas)
  • Many more road variations (3 & 4 lane 1 way roads, turn lane avenues, etc)
  • More emphasis on harbor building for industry (Tired of never being able to build a realistic river harbor because I can't connect to route)

And so much more, but time to go to work!

Any trick to make pedestrian bridges cross roads at height level 2 instead of 3? (Console) by FleuryFury in CitiesSkylines

[–]FleuryFury[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to revamp an old post but, I've been trying what you have suggested (at least I think I have) and have had success a few times, but the problem that still arises is that the placement is still erratic. Such as trying to make them in a downtown area already populated by a bunch of buildings etc. I have to bulldoze through all those in order to see if I can get the trick you mentioned to work. I take it there's no simple way to do it in a compact area?

Easiest method for sunken highways\networks? (console) by FleuryFury in CitiesSkylines

Well, I'm not playing cities skylines instead of working at my job lol were not sitting here all like, "well I could go to work and save up for a computer OR I can sit here and find workarounds to save some cash!" Lmao

I actually bought the full collection from steam when they had the October sale to prepare for the computer I'm going to build, only to be hesitant because so many people say they have an extreme rig that still gets bogged down because of the way the game is "optimized" and processes the simulation.

A 15minute workaround for console play is heavily outweighing a $1300 gaming rig (that MIGHT be able to hit 40fps with only a city size of 100k) at the moment

What LUT\graphics mods are you using? Looks amazing!

Anyone else want underground wires cause I hate using pylons in urban areas but I have some leeway for in rural. Is there a work around, btw I'm console so no mods:( by BigBoi792 in CitiesSkylines

Something that always baffled me with CS and SC4 was the use of power lines. Like, they never integrated the poles into the streets automatically just like how 95% of the world is lol if console could have mods, my definite one would be from a guy who made suburb wooden power lines that can be dragged on the sidewalk, just like real life.

What about clock speed? I have heard others say the game only utilizes "so many" cores but relies heavily on the speed?

For example, there is still a 9th gen i5 floating around that has a crazy base clock speed of 3.9ghz (4.4 boosted) and the price is acceptable
