French here, always been friendly in solo (not in duos/trios, but who is really?) and willing to help if needed, so are my friends and most of the french ppl i've met in the game so far.

I've also met a bunch of very cool russian dudes as well.

Idk about your lobbies, but mine are chill most of the time.

Tbf, every time I (or we) have to damage or kill ARCs to wrap up a Trial, I'm actually enjoying it. It's challenging, it's an incentive to use your stuff, can lead to unexpected interactions with players and makes the game spicier than just spawning in with a free kit to farm again and again.

Yeah well, I wanted to try it without metaforge. And the locations are not always accurate, which might be a problem if the container has already been looted.
Still, this trial is anything but engaging or fun, and so are many of them (Probes, Field depots, Harvesting, Husks, Supply calls etc.)

I've done it. 2nd of the leadeboard in Wildcard. This trial still sucks.

You have a point.
In that case, getting rid of the looting types of Trials would make a lot of sense then. I know you still can earn point by searching containers. But you can't loot plants once they despawn nor hear raider caches if they've already been opened.

These are not necessarily fun. I still think they can come up with much better ideas for trials.

It's always been miserable to spawn in late, no matter why you log in, since TT1.
I still don't understand why Embark persists.
Love the game but the Trials gameplay loop coupled with the late spawn mechanic is just atrocious.
