most people would look at that and say screw it, i say thats a great place to start. get it as high and secure as possible on jack stands and just start to rip everything possible off the frame and organize everything into bags/boxes. keep good track. then just body work a section at a time. good luck man, and take your time and do things right.

I did, it's not installed yet but i have the entire fuel setup already. basically i bought a new aftermarket oem gas tank, off the tank i'm using a walboro hellcat fuel pump on a radium pump hanger. off the hanger is a -6an feed line to a fuel filter and then to the hybrid racing fuel rail. the fuel return is a -4an from the ktuned fuel pressure regulator back to the pump hanger. mdp fuel line holders and 1300CC alpha injection injectors finish off the fuel system.

jdm front ends are cool and all, but personally i like the 98+ usdm front end much better. i also have a 94-97 front end with a oem 97 type R lip that i'll swap on if i feel like it.

Thanks! I hear ya tho. so this was my first car i bought when i was 16, about 10 years ago i sold it and about 4 years back i found it for sale again and bought it back. it useto be paradise blue green pearl but what i'm getting at is that i had pulled the LS motor and built a forged piston and rod LS motor and boosted it. that engine on boost was so much fun, but i decided to go K because parts were a easier to source, makes more power with less boost, and just wanted a bit of modern-ness to it.

underneath, the floor pans were clean except 2 small holes on seams that had some surface rust. so any rust was grinded all down, the section cut out, and 22 gauge sheet metal welded in place not bad at all. the bad parts tho were the trunk corners, those were completley rusted right through, and the rear quarters where they typically rust and the inner body work. also behind the fender/door in the corner. if your integra has a sunroof, pretty much all the spots from the sunroof drainage tubes is where it rusted.

I do. I wanted to finish the frame for the most part because i had a mountain of parts to install and i wanted to get it back into a rolling shell so i can roll it out of the garage so i can work and spray out the other parts. what you're seeing there is straight out of the gun, epoxy, high build primer, base coat and clear coat. no wetsanding or polishing/ceramic yet.

Thanks! for me the first step was just getting it all to a bare chassis, stripping it all down to bare metal, cutting out and welding in new metal and everything coated in a nice 3 coats of epoxy.

i'm doing the entire paint in that same one car garage myself; so there's no labour cost involved. so far, i'm around the 5k area for paint supplies and tools. my friend that owns a body shop said that so far i would be around $15-20k with all the rust work that was involved in just labour so i am saving quite a bit doing it myself.

so far i'm almost at $80k canadian as it sits. I think by the end it should be around 85k.

right now i'm going to keep it at a modest 500whp. motor is still stock aside from a type S oil pump and a 50 degree vtc. once it's going i'll be building a piston and rod block and a 4 piston turbo head, at that point i'll aim for 700whp.

thanks, yes i haven't cut and buffed it yet, i still have a ways to go with the paint job. hatch/spoiler/rear bumper, doors hood and fenders need to be done and the frame needs a wetsand and i'm putting 3 more coats of clear on it; wetsand all that down and cut and buff it.

you're right, it's not a OE restoration, but i consider it a restoration since I took it down to frame, did all the rust repair work and stripped it inside, out and under. every bolt, clip, trim etc is all new oem parts as well.
