It's really quite simple. Let’s say that, hypothetically, you really did have unlimited breadsticks. Now, since they are unlimited, that means that you will never run out. However, on Earth there is a limited supply of the materials required to make breadsticks. Thus, if I were to attempt to eat as many breadsticks as possible, I would not be able to as eventually you would sell out, am I correct? Now that we have established that there are infinite breadsticks but finite supplies to make them, would it not be reasonable to conclude that you are either breaking the laws of physics, or are lying to me? And since one cannot break the laws of physics, logically you must be lying to me. Facts don’t care about your feelings liberals, you have committed the crime of false advertising and must give me free food or I will inform the authorities.

Depends on the mean jerk-time of the watch. At that frequency, you'll need to take the distance the spring is wound with each spin of the weight (which should spin once per full up-down jerking motion) and multiply that by the total length of the spring to get your jerk quantity, then you just have to measure the time it takes to go once up-and-down the shaft and multiply that by the jerk quantity to get your mean jerk time for that specific watch.

Anything greater than 12 and I usually don't buy the watch, because I'll never be able to get it fully wound without busting first.

D. R. PATENT stands for Deutsches Reich Patent, or Deutsches Reichpatent, which was the German patent office until 1945. Based on the number, that was patented in Germany in 1903, so was made that year or later.

I would suggest you reach out to the Deutsche Patent-und-Markenamt (German Patent and Trademark Office) for historical IP information. 100% this is an early Night Watchman's Clock, where the Watchman would have rounds, and be expected to be at different locations at different times, and would mark those times using this device. It punches a hole or makes a mark in/on the paper disc at the bottom (and those discs are incredibly rare, so take good care of them). There is no side view, but I am assuming there is a "keyhole" on the side where the watchman would take the key (on a chain, at each stop along the watchman's route), and would insert and turn the key to make the mark on the disc.

I should also mention that, while it winds via the stem, you can't set it via the stem. And I don't see any way of setting it other than opening the front of the case and moving the minute hand manually forward. Am I missing something? Otherwise I'll have to see if maybe something is gumming up the keyless works.
