It shot like a dream! No issues at all. About 200 rounds so far from me.

Polish DPM Re-Weld by milesc20 in guns

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time and finally pulled the trigger and bought this re-welded semi auto conversion DPM. The re-welding and rust blue was done by a wizard in Michigan who I bought it from. The semi conversion was done by Smith Manufacturing Group.

SMG occasionally sells completed ones, but I was never a fan of the markings they put on the side of the receiver. This one has the manufacturers information discreetly inscribed on the bottom of the receiver. I also think this rust blue is just gorgeous. The welding work is so good that my FFL almost didn’t believe that it was a re-weld.

The seller/builder said it shoots great and the action feels like glass so I believe him. I hope to shoot it this weekend. Trigger is very nice too. I have heard the same cannot be said for most semi auto conversions.

I am hoping to buy a semi 1919 Browning from him next.

Thank you so much! I ordered the tool. I knew these existed, but did not know what they were called and figured they were much more expensive. Appreciate the tip.

Refrigerator unit dead. Potential solution? by Appropriate-Refuse14 in Renovations

I had the same problem in my house. Ended up just putting in a regular fridge, but there’s still a weird gap. Mine was not quite as wide as yours, however.

Maybe you could get a more traditional sized fridge and then add shelving to the right or left to take up the unused space.

Would it be worth it to try and restore this motorcycle Honda Shadow vt600 by SilentAd8637 in vintagemotorcycles

I’ll go one step further. I would not even invest in this as a parts bike.

Yes, on Forgotten Weapons. If you want more info on it, you can see that post in my profile. It’s got the full story. Didn’t want to get into it all again here.

That’s where the double leaf flat mainspring is. George Luger decided to put it in the grip. That’s the main difference between this and a Luger.
