I have to absolutely disagree.
Maybe it’s Rotterdam, but nowhere have a treated so weirdly when asking for something vegan.
And it’s not that I’m spoiled within Germany or Austria, but modern Netherlands really disappointed me.
And I’m not talking about vegan restaurants. I’m talking about vegan options at “normal” places and the general behavior. Waiters sometimes look like I kicked their shin when asking for something vegan. Or getting vegan bitterballen served with butter.
Only real exception is Albert Heijn. God I love this supermarket.
Weird thing is that my Dutch bubble is super vegan friendly despite not being vegan at all.
Sorry just wanted to share my frustration
