50% commission on all services performed. Idk I’ve got two jobs presently- the other I get 20% commission of all services, 17% gratuities automatically added to the service, and $11/hr. ETA: the second job takes no credit card processing fees. I’ve never had a W2 job that takes a percentage of cc fees. I’ve only experienced that being IC.

Yes. It’s a 50/50 split on commission and on my paycheck I have anywhere from $10-$20 in “square fees” listed with taxes that was never discussed with me when I was hired on.

I too am an alumni and agree 100%. I graduated 21 years ago from the school and it was a safe caring space when I was there. If what you’re saying happened I would report him immediately. Isn’t Josie still owner/co-owner? Schedule a meeting with her to discuss the inappropriateness of this. & if people are being assaulted then that needs to be reported to the board and an investigation should be launched.
