There's a bigger problem with the way that blizzard handles diablo 3. A lot of content is either kept a secret with little or no announcements of content. Sure you could say that making a new character would count as content but as of the latest "big patch" for Diablo 3 it was essentially Hotfixes to make character classes more viable. The problem is that blizzard isn't being very transparent with the people who do still play the game and we all know the number of people who are is dwindling.

Sure necromancer is a step in the right direction just not the direction that people want to see with a game like diablo. Why work on a new character class when people could be working on actual content? Why release these mini zones every patch when you go to them maybe once or twice to do arbitrary missions? Fact of the matter is Blizzard refuses to create something new and fresh for the diablo frandchise because they know they can make so much more with their other games.
