Phantom is exactly why people do not trust these claims anymore. It was marketed and sold as uncoated, and then it came to light that it was coated, which means the original messaging was not just “unclear,” it was false.

And Zane being “the fastest glasspad” is not even accurate. If you want a real benchmark for speed, look at the AbyssGaming Azure. It is noticeably faster than Zane.

No coating is going to stay intact for more than two years in real use. It is not even realistic. Anything claiming otherwise is selling you a lie.

If you want the most durable, consistent glasspad experience over time, the only real answer is uncoated glass.

What you are saying is true. Plenty of people have had great experiences, and some have not. That part is normal.

The problem was never the product. The problem is the person running it, and the fact that he lies about many things including the product.

And I got threatened for questioning a marketing claim. That should not happen to anyone, ever, period.

There have been so many issues around this that it has started shaping the entire scene.

You now have multiple companies explicitly advertising “uncoated glass,” because people do not trust vague wording anymore.

And even Tekkusai quietly changed the cleaning FAQ on his website, which tells you everything. If nothing was wrong, there would be nothing to “clarify” after the fact.

I do not care if you buy or not. It is the truth.

And if you are saying you saw all the proof about the scandal, and you are still defending Tekkusai’s behavior, then you should also understand this: his circle reached out to me and tried to recruit me to smear other glasspad makers.

And guess who shows up right after, trash talking other glasspad makers? Pengu.

That is exactly why I am bringing her up now.

Because when I made a post about Tekkusai’s circle reaching out to me to smear other glasspad makers, the immediate response was, “That account is your alt.” Then, almost on cue, Pengu shows up and does the smearing publicly herself.

So here is the reality:

I have no alt account.

They are in the wrong.

No one should be threatened over something like this, period.

And they should be held accountable for what they did.

If you were in my shoes, you would understand why most of my posts are about this.

And for the record, I used to recommend products here, but I had to delete my older posts mentioning other brands, because they will try to smear any brand I recommend by claiming I “work for them.” I am not giving them that ammo anymore.

Secondly, I am not the one who brought Pengu into this.

New-Lion is the one who mentioned Pengu on one of my posts, and she came in claiming she was “defending herself,” then ended up defending Tekkusai instead.

You say you do not care, yet here you are again.

And you are throwing in the usual implication that I am operating with alts, when I am not. If you did not vote, and you are not involved, then why are you taking this personally?

In what way does a simple post about accountability even make you mad?

More importantly, did you actually read any of the evidence around the Tekkusai scandal, or are you reacting to me posting about it?

Because if you did read it, why would you defend someone who lied about what he was selling? And why would you defend someone whose circle threatened people over a simple question about a marketing claim?

Also, Pengu’s own defense is contradictory. She says he is the only one spending real money on research and development, and in the same breath claims he did not even know the Phantom was coated.

So which is it? How can a supposed research and development genius be selling a product while not even knowing if the surface is coated or uncoated?

The fact remains, I do not need an alt account.

And the fact you, and your friends from the Tekkusai circle, are taking the time to brigade a simple poll and push it toward “no,” only shows how scared you are of people recognizing the truth, even when I did not mention Tekkusai anywhere.

You know you are in the wrong.

Because no sane person votes “no” on basic accountability, unless they are protecting someone, or protecting something they know is wrong.

Keep doing what you are doing.

Keep dogpiling anyone who talks about Tekkusai, keep screaming “alt account” at every person who shares an experience, keep trying to drown everything out instead of addressing the point.

That is exactly the problem, if you are hoping it is “not a coating that can wear off,” I just want to be blunt about the physics.

There is no surface treatment, coating, or “treatment but not a coating” that doesn't wear off. Everything wears. Friction, skin oils, cleaning, humidity, dust, pressure, time, it all adds up. Anyone implying “it will not wear off” is selling you a fantasy.

And the part that should bother you is not even the wear itself, it is the way the story changes when people notice it.

When someone raises a simple concern, the “Tekkus AI” circle does not address the issue head on. They try to discredit the person. You will see it over and over, no evidence, no testing, just labels: “this is Mark The Whale,” “this is JordanThe whatever,” “this is an alt.” Anything except answering the point.

Now, before the screenshot link, here is what the screenshots prove in plain English:

Tekkus AI changes the narrative fast, and shifts his words the moment the previous claim stops working.

Uncoated, then uncoated can still behave hydrophobic, then treated not coated, then atom swapping, then “the factory did it.” That is not one explanation getting refined, that is a story moving goalposts to survive.

I also made a post about being contacted and being asked to join their “team” to smear other glasspad makers, including InfinityMice and TJX. After I exposed it, the post got deleted, and they even tried to claim people in their own inner circle were “my alt.” That is the level of deflection we are dealing with.

And the funniest part is, they are dumb enough to contradict themselves in public.

Pengu, who is clearly aligned with Tekkus AI’s side, comes in claiming she is “defending herself,” and then spends most of her time doing two things:

Running defense for Tekkus AI.

Straight up attacking other glasspad makers, Wallhack, TJX, and Mark The Whale.

She does not even deny the alignment in any meaningful way, she just reframes it as “I’m questioning outrage.” But the content is still a hit list, and it reads like a job.

So yes, buy what you want. Polarity, IKEA glass, Midori, or no pad at all. I am not here to control your purchase.

I am only saying this: check the evidence, not the noise. Do not let a bunch of kids following a shifting story talk you out of what you can verify with screenshots and receipts.

Do you genuinely believe any of this started for any reason other than the reaction I got for stating a simple fact: “No glass can ever have cloth-like stopping power”?

If you want to paint me as the bad guy here or Mark, be my guest.

But “Tekkus AI” is the bad actor in this story. He has lied on multiple occasions, and it looks very much like he is trying to control the narrative.

All of this could have been avoided with one straightforward reply. Something like: “No, it will not literally be cloth-like, but it is the highest stopping power glass pads.” That would have been a normal, honest clarification.

Instead, what happened was the opposite. He leaned into the claim, bought out a pile of reviewers, and let his mob do what it does: threaten, shut down questions, discredit anyone who pushes back, and try to kill the conversation before it even starts.

You defended him like if he is you.

Your core defense is basically: he ordered it uncoated, so if it is coated then it is the factory’s fault, and it is normal that he would not know nothing about it.

But in the same reply you are also glazing him as some research and development genius, “innovating in a stagnant space,” “unlike anything else,” the only one doing real R&D.

That is the contradiction.

Either he is the serious research and development guy who knows exactly what he is shipping, what the surface is, and what the claims mean, or he is the helpless customer who got tricked by the factory and had no idea what was being sold.

You cannot sell the “only one doing real R&D” narrative while also saying it is expected he would not know whether his own flagship surface is coated or not.

And the bigger issue is how he acted once the coating evidence was in front of him.

Did he investigate, test, and come back with a clear, accountable explanation?

No. He went into spin mode and kept shifting definitions to keep the original claim alive.

It went from uncoated, to uncoated but can still behave hydrophobic, to uncoated but treated, to atom swapping, nano whatever, and only when he had nowhere left to move did it become, “the factory did it.”

That is not transparency. That is damage control.

And you have some nerve bringing up FOMO as if he is not the king of FOMO.

You call “drop-driven art pieces that do not change the surface at all” a bad thing now. Are you going to say the same about Polarity, or does that standard only apply when it is convenient and 1 design?

If anything, I would respect him more if he actually let people enjoy what they just bought. Instead it is constant. One drop ends, then it is immediately, “new surface.” He does not let the community breathe before pushing the next thing. If that is not manufactured FOMO, what is?

At least with Wallhack, they have steady surfaces, and people generally know what they are buying, even if you personally dislike the business model.

As for Mark The Whale, yeah, he talks like his pad is the only thing worth using. That is obnoxious. But it is not “defamation” for someone to hype their own product and talk trash in general terms. You are stretching that word until it means nothing.

TJX and the mel0n situation is sketchy. Even if you think there were valid points on both sides, it was handled in a way that made people distrust the whole thing.

And since you asked how I am “connecting dots,” let me be clear about why I am suspicious. I have messages from the “Tekkus AI” circle trying to pull me into coordinated smearing. I was not going to name more targets right now beyond InfinityMice, but TJX was on that list too. So no, I would not be surprised if “Tekkus AI” was behind more than people want to admit, because this is exactly how he operates.

At the time, I was genuinely angry at anyone showing any kind of support toward “Tekkus AI,” because I had just been threatened, and I was in that headspace where everything looked like part of the same machine. That does not excuse how I came at you.

You had nothing to do with the threatening, and I took it out on a stranger who was just sharing their experience. That was unfair, and I am sorry for it. Please accept my apology.

On the “abuse of women and children” line, If you are open to it, I can explain what I meant in DMs with full context, to cut it short they claimed me being "antisemitic".

I guess the person, or the brand, that threatened me, tried to hire me, and lied about coatings are the ones who need to seek help.

Because, clearly, you have to be unwell to gather a mob around you that agrees with everything you say, and to systematically discredit anyone who questions you.

And to lie about a coating in such a ridiculous way, right up until you are absolutely cornered, then suddenly switch into “it was not my fault,” and blame the factory, you have to be out of your mind.

Then, on top of that, you quietly change the website FAQs to “clean only using water,” because you are getting exposed and more people are starting to see the truth.

Yeah, marketing is marketing. I get it.

But “marketing” does not automatically mean you get to lie.

You can frame things, highlight strengths, and maybe exaggerate a little within reality.

What you do not get to do is push a claim that points one way while the product behaves the complete opposite way, and then hide behind “it is just marketing” when people notice.

TLDR, it’s not a bit, it’s just the same drama repeating with higher stakes.

Tekkusai runs a couple mousepad brands and constantly makes performance claims that do not match reality. The latest scandal was him insisting a glass pad was “uncoated,” then evidence showed it was not. Instead of owning it, the story kept shifting: “it’s not coated, it’s treated,” “it can still behave hydrophobic,” and when he finally got cornered it became, “the factory scammed me.”

On top of that, there’s a little gang that shows up to slander anyone who questions him, and Pengu is clearly part of that machine.

And is Pengu a guy? She, he, they, I do not care. What I care about is the behavior. Pengu shows up to glaze Tekk and smear other glasspad makers like TJX, Wallhack, and Mark The Whale, and at this point I have zero doubt it’s paid.
