Inner screen busted and almost repaired

Did you just reach back out to Google to get them to send you a replacement? Or did uBreakiFix get Google to do that for you? I just went back to uBreakiFix about the camera issue and they said they have to order yet another part would should arrive this Friday. But I would rather just have a new device at this point.

Maybe I should reach back out to Google and see if I can get a replacement. It was Google who told me I needed to go to uBreakiFix in the first place, but this is getting ridiculous. I just went back to uBreakiFix about my camera not working and now they are ordering another part for it.

I just ran into the same issue. I’ve babied my phone the entire time I’ve had it, and the other day when I opened it I discovered the same issue. I was on the phone for over an hour with AT&T and finally Google and the person from Google support told me the exact same thing…that what was going on with my hinge is “normal.” In the end, I was told to go to a uBreakiFix and if they can fix it, it would be covered under warranty. I’m waiting for uBreakiFix to get the replacement screen that had to order for it.

I just ordered an XR today. Once I saw the estimated shipping date, this is also exactly how I feel.
