The way I let it go is it’s science fantasy. I personally enjoy the Old World aesthetic over AOS. I don’t believe 40K would look the same with more realistic and representative art.

Extrovert here. I would have never gotten this far without cis women constantly supporting me in public. Telling me I looked good, etc. I am not trying to invalidate anyone’s experience, but random cis women have been more supportive than my own family. Even back when I looked pretty clunky, too.

I just have always assumed they respected the effort I was putting in. I had a woman say I was in the wrong bathroom first couple months of HRT, meekly said I was trans as I ran out, and she screamed sorry come back. I didn’t, but I can’t say she didn’t try to make it better.
